If you want to talk to a HUMAN, you're going to have to be more creative than I just was. As soon as I said "I'd like to express..." I was put through to a voice mail. Rebecca Long, I believe. I left her my message.

While on hold, 2 extensions were given out...Lynne Howe???? Ext. 5376, and the second ext. was #5377 for someone else. I didn't get the 2nd name. Be creative if you want a human.

Dorks.

Someone better come up with some new charities fast, the Red Cross and the United Way are going to tank, just like K-Mart, Ford, and everyone else we don't like.

Salvation Army.
They don't get involved in politics. They're too busy feeding the homeless in soup kitchens, running shelters, helping those who have suffered fire, accident, weather.
They're the only charity that does what it's suppose to do. They refused federal funding because they refused to follow the laws of politicall correctness. The put the needy, not the politically connected, first.

I saw this interview on Fox during the 3:00 hour. Gibson was subbing for Shep. John was nearly apoplectic and rendered nearly speechless. He kept asking this RC woman - "The Declaration of Independecne is a political document" ?? He simply couldn't get beyond it. He was also stunned that the students weren't going to be allowed to sing America the Beautiful etc, because it might be offensive. To WHOM ???? This IS America. Am I missing something here ??? I'm so tired of having to suppress our Americanism because God forbid someone living in America might be offended. God save us all from ourselves.

Salvation Army always! Those people are totally devoted, organized, and selfless.

I wrote Gibson saying that when the socialist want to take their anti-American actions they always claim "offensive". Using their logic, we declare Red Cross offensive and demand they dissolve.

God bless your mother. I believe this all arose out of the program being put on for the awards for volunteers, probably the same affair your mother is to receive her honor.

That's one of the things I'm trying to find out: Is this the same event? It sounds like it is, but I'm not sure.

And to think this happened in "so-called conservative" Orange County CA. Has anybody been there lately? I left that area almost 4 years ago. The more appropriate name for that place is "Occupied Orange County"

Been living here since 1997 and loving every minute of it. Why do you think it has suddenly turned liberal? It's a known fact that if you win the primary as a republican you "automatically" when against a democrat in the general election.

Mrs. Dole, by the way, as President of the American Red Cross, appears to have done more than her share of mischief in seeking to prevent the free flow of medical supplies to the general population of Yugoslavia, or to the Serb population in Bosnia, while supplies flood into Kosovo for Albanian relief.

"Libby" Dole has turned the Red Cross into a Serb-hating bloodsucker organization, and another one of the "humanitarian" NGOs that is proppping up the unjustified existence of the "conditionally independent" UCK/KLA state of "Kosova". It's why I no longer give to them--I even sent my Sept.11th relief money to New York's 9/11 Fund.

Perhaps instead of "America the Beautiful", the Red Cross wants children to sing, "Allahu Akbar! islam will dominate the world!!!"

Aw, let's just forget the Red Cross and give our charity money to the Salvation Army. The Red Cross is a hopeless cause. I wish they'd take the Cross off their logo and name and admit they don't believe in it.

Suggestion for new name: The Reds

Anyway, it seems the Red Cross of Orange County believes the Declaration of Independence to be an offensive document.

It was meant to be offensive, to tyrants and would-be tyrants everywhere.

Thanks,

I wrote to FOX 11 LA and advised them of John Gibson's interview regarding the OC Red Cross story and his 3pm "My Word" section regarding the OC Red Cross. Maybe, they will link to the interview or write up an article.

I've been so upset about this since I first heard it on the 12:00 hr of the Fox Report. We have another thread going as well. Some have we've written letters and called. I tried to leave a message but the voice mailbox was full.

Here is the other thread in case anyone want's to see what others are writing.

Also, Mark Larson is subbing for Hugh Hewitt today and I caught the tail end of him talking about it, but I believe he said he was trying to get hold of the press release from the teacher involved. www.marklarson.com (maybe he'll post it on his site)
