Nowadays, the first thing that occurs to me is a Muslim terrorist infiltrator.

And to show how good things really are, the second thing I think of is a government cover-up. We've already started jailing people in public offices that don't "jive" with the communist-agenda. And, we've even started arresting the masses via the guise of hate speech and civil rights. Tyranny is knocking at America's door and we're letting her walk right in. I fear sites like FreeRepublic will be but a memory in the near future.

I'm sure she was the prime suspect from the start.
It was just the fact that this was an SOC Major that raised a red flag for me.

Yes, I heard the call on the radio, and I heard about how the hospital was suspicious of marks on the wife's neck and the fact that her jaw was 'tight', indicating she'd been dead for longer than he said. You wait, he'll be arrested pretty soon, I'm pretty sure.

Off the top of my head I recall a preacher arrested last week for reading a scripture from the Bible that denounced homosexuality as the degenerecy it is. Agents of some sort (CIA, FBI, whatever) jumped from their seats and hauled him off. We're slowly evolving into a tyrannical state. Good think they put all those cameras up on the West Coast at all of the intersections. They'll be very useful to Big Brother.

Thanks for the follow-up news item. Just as many of us suspected...but initially uncertain of motive.

That's exactly what Mrs. CD said... if rigor mortis had set in she had been dead a while.

See, you must listen to Mrs. CD, 'cos she's right...and 'cos she watches all those crime shows and knows how to make your demise look like a sad, unfortunate accident....LOL!

Black overalls

Fayetteville consists of 4 factions, South Fayettenamese, friendly to soldiers, North Fayettenamese and Fayette Cong, unfriendly to soldiers, and of course soldiers. I get this from an airborn friend who assures me it is true.

Yes, I know... I (halfway) joke about that
I took her to the shooting range last summer.

It was the first time she ever shot a pistol, and you know what?
She's a dead shot.

After I took a look at that target, I thought to myself, "what am I, crazy?" :)

HA! You posted that article yourself and you would know, if you read it, that it didn't actually happen. It was a "this could happen" scenario, but it didn't actually happen.

I think you need to go back and read the post. There are segments which are used as "illustrations", but that particular opening was not referred to as such. I don't believe you digested the information appropriately. I've read it over again and don't infer that this "didn't" happen. Just because someone screams "far fetched", doesn't make it so. Many of the other examples are more clearly illustrations. So HAHAHA to you, Mr. Fancy Pants. =)

Maybe if she had told the police the "intruder" was a "drug-crazed hippie" chanting "acid is groovy, kill the pigs" she would have gotten away with it...for a few years anyway.

Excellent book, wasn't it?
A very good look into a sociopathic personality.

Hey! That story was updated on WRAL with the following:

"Police have also issued a petition charging a 15-year-old in the soldier's death. The warrant names the juvenile as a principal to the crime of murder and conspiracy. The juvenile is not yet in custody."

Reminds me of the time the teacher had her student kill her husband. (Jean Smart, I believe?)
