SACRAMENTO -- From bushed lawmakers to the people dependent on state services, Californians were relieved Sunday that the Legislature finally had agreed on a budget.
But even the most optimistic admitted that the plan to bridge a $24 billion shortfall was far from the end of the state's fiscal crisis.

Any wonder why Republicans can't prevail in the legislature. With this sort of day dreaming, dufusy leadership who needs Democrats.
Wonder what other realistic solutions Cox has for us.

No wonder he has to attack the kind of experience a seasoned investment banker would bring to the state govenrment. We don't need no stinking due diligence here, no reasoned analysis of costs versus benefits.
How much do programs like his subsidies for "clean" SUV's add to it? How much money has he caused to be wasted on services for illegals in order to court their votes?
