The governor who once said it was the Legislature's job to "implement my vision" may have toned down his rhetoric, but he hasn't weakened his gubernatorial resolve one bit.
Lawmakers saw plenty of Gov. Gray Davis' "vision" at the close of the legislative session a week ago, when the Democratic leader repeatedly demanded that reluctant senators overhaul high-profile bills.
