Although Simon paid more in taxes during the past decade than most people earn, the files left unanswered the question of whether he should have paid more -- an issue that remains unresolved. We all note who reserves the right to define what constitutes "should."

Of course in the democrats mind he should have paid all of his earnings as taxes. Absolutely pathetic.

Although Simon paid more in taxes during the past decade than most people earn, the files left unanswered the question of whether he should have paid more -- an issue that remains unresolved. The man paid nearly 1/3 of his income to the federal and state government, and his business and investments have generated thousands of jobs for others -- people who are paying taxes. How can they say that there is a question as to whether he should have paid more? Please! As far as I'm concerned, we're ALL overtaxed, including Bill Simon!
Dump ALL Democrats! Dump Davis!

I find it interesting that Gladstone failed to mention either Simon's gross or net taxable income. Curious isn't it?

Bill Simon: He made his fortune, now he wants to serve the state.
Gray Davis: He made his fortune at the cost of the state.
