Thank you for your interest in my campaign. I announced my candidacy for the 2008 Republican Presidential nomination with a speech at the National Press Club in Washington D.C. on January 21, 2005, followed by questions from the press. I also autographed copies of my book, Saddam's Attacks on America: 1993; September 11, 2001; and the Anthrax Attacks, that demonstrates how Saddam funded and assisted Osama bin Laden in attacking America.

HUGH CORT CAN WIN WITH YOUR VOTE!

Presently there are nine well-known candidates who have filed exploratory committees for the 2008 GOP primaries, there are others who have already filed as candidates. More candidates are likely to join this race.

The common theme among all these candidates is "we need a true conservative" or "we need a Reagan conservative." I have two issues with this. First, this is the Republican primaries, every candidate is going to try to sound like Ronald Reagan and none of us is Mr. Reagan. Second, I believe we need a President who is more conservative than Ronald Reagan and I am that candidate.

While many in this field of candidates have held elective office or are members of the business community, I am different. I am an internationally recognized counter-terrorism expert. I travel the country speaking about terrorism and how we must stop it. National security is the number one issue facing this country and I am the one candidate with the expertise to ensure the safety of you and your family.

Make no mistake, I am not a single issue candidate. Obviously, as a counter-terrorism expert that is of chief concern to me. I also believe we need to secure our borders to stop the illegal alien invasion of our country.

I'm a Republican because I believe in hard work, self-reliance, less government, the preservation of our Judeo-Christian values, and the free enterprise system that has made America the envy of the world.

I invite you to check out my issues page. If you agree I am the one "true conservative" in this race I invite you to join my campaign.

I like what he has to say...he should look at joining up with Duncan Hunter and look to be his VP candidate.

Not only will I fight to get Roe v. Wade overturned,

I like it. Probably should get elected to lower office first though. Thanks for the ping. I'm somewhat familiar with a lot of the candidates, but I've not heard of him. Did you hear that the lead singer of Bride may run as a CP candidate?

Sounds good to me.
