After having witnessed the crowd’s obasm on 1/20/09, I truly doubt that there is one person in all of government with the courage to challenge Obama’s eligibility for POTUS, and he knows it. We seem to forget that we are no longer the Home of the Brave.

That’s honestly what I’m afraid of at this point. They’ll say — Well, Obama is good enough, and he’s promised all these good things for us, let’s just let it slide... And just like everything that socialists do to a country they will establish a precedent for future political power, and then we will be “open” for a TRUE dictator to come in and take MORE power from the people — especially if they are ignoring something as important as citizenship when it comes to the Office of President.
When you see the fawning and clamoring of Obama it gets sickening. This man is the closest thing I’ve seen in my life, at least, to being an “anti-Christ”-like figure. Even those who should be opposing him on principle, and ideology are backing down and even in some cases SUPPORTING his decisions. And, we all know the press is so hung up on him already that there is virtually no way they will give an opportunity to someone to speak on this issue in any real “national” media production (TV News, Talk Shows, Papers, etc... Esp. the big networks, and the major papers).
Obama doesn’t fulfill the scriptures or anything like that (he’d have to be friendly with Israel for one, and whether he was born in Kenya or Hawaii that part wouldn’t fit either! LOL). However, the one thing he does have is this extraordinary draw of people — most of whom are probably missing a true connection with God and therefore have a space in their hearts that Obama is filling instead — a false idol. You might as well paint him gold and give him horns because he IS the golden calf that will lead us to slaughter I’m afraid... The praise and aura around him are quite frightening for anyone who does have faith in God because it all seems to evil in a way... And, like most brilliantly evil people he is manipulating people’s emotions to expand his power and force his way...
I fear all Americans are in great danger right now of losing everything we hold dear - as in our Constitutional and God-given Rights. I’ll be the first to admit that our government has NOT being doing a good job following the Constitution in the first place, but that’s been happening for almost a century now (the semi-socialist laws and such). However, to say that we have failed and have strayed so far from the spirit of our Constitution as Obama has basically stated when signing his executive orders yesterday is NOT the truth. However, HIS plans which will be pushed through under the guise of “restoring” rights supposedly gone are only going to place MORE power with the Federal Government... And when the Federal Government gets too strong like this THAT will cause us to fail as a country.
With the Fairness Doctrine on the table, and their proposal to end Presidential Term Limits, as well as that Gun Sales and Licensing Act pushed by Black Panther Bobby Rush, and add in the financial bailouts and partially “nationalizing” the banking system now, and one can start to see where if we are not careful we could be heading exactly where Venezuela went just a few years ago. People don’t think it could happen here, but dictators really don’t care who they hurt, and the Constitution is just a piece of paper if it’s standing in the way of someone, or a group of people who really have an agenda to make the nation in their ideological image (in this case — COMMUNISTS). They can make up a host of excuses, and again pay lip service to rights, and all the while be stripping us of them by emotionally blackmailing the public to agree. It’s a very dangerous time for our country and I hope we make it through to reverse some of the damage Obama and the Democrats will do now that they are in control. At least that’s what I’m praying for right now.
It’s not even so much Obama that I’m afraid of, but those Presidents who come after this term. What socialists never realize is that even if the person they choose to lead people is relatively “good” and even if the system is set up “well” it ALWAYS leads to oppression! Once the system is established the power is there, and people BEHIND those who are at the top are ALWAYS trying to get to the top themselves and be the one “in charge”. Look at what happened in Russia with all the deaths of their leaders during the Cold War (esp. right before Reagan got into office). This is the kind of situation that allows the Hitlers and Stalins, and Chavezes of the world to gain control. It’s simple human greed that will propel someone into the office who will use every bit of their power against the people.
Somehow we Conservative have got to stop them from passing some of these bills... I’m not sure HOW though since our Congressional Reps. and Senators are barely EVER accountable to the people - it’s like they get to Washington and their push their PERSONAL agenda and ideas and don’t give a second thought to the fact that they are supposed to represent what their CONSTITUENTS want, not what THEY think is best!
UGH — This is a REALLY BIG MESS! It’s like a nightmare.
