Boxer plays abortion card in Hollywood

LOS ANGELES – Sen. Barbara Boxer returned on Thursday to a tried and tested campaign strategy by painting her opponent as an extreme anti-abortion conservative who is out of touch with California voters.

The three-term Democrat used a rally at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel to claim that GOP nominee Carly Fiorina would become a sure Senate vote to overturn Roe v. Wade.

"Make no mistake about it," Boxer said alongside actresses Maria Bello, Amy Brenneman and Alfre Woodard and Reps. Jane Harman, Diane Watson and Laura Richardson. "A woman's right to choose is on the ballot here in California this year. It's very stark. Barbara Boxer, pro-choice, versus Carly Fiorina, anti-choice. It's very clear and very important people know this."

Boxer has hammered away at Fiorina's stance on abortion during other campaign events and their two previous debates. But California election observers say she's also been holding back a bit by featuring other lines of attack in her high-priced TV commercials.

That strategy contrasts with her three previous campaigns for the Senate, where she’s found success against other conservative Republicans who view abortion similarly to Fiorina...

We all know that abortion is murder. It is time to say it loud and say it proud.

I predict that right before the election there will be news reports (played up big by the local TV stations) that mysterious white powder, possibley anthrax, has been discovered at Planned Parenthood. There will be no follow up reporting.

Amy Brenneman was the star of Judging Amy tv series back some years back. She’s also a ginormous moonbat:

The “Department of Peace”, lol.

you’d think that with all the methods available women could avoid getting pregnant by now — which should make abortion a non-issue. and i am a woman — very upset with the irresponsibility of my fellow women. i’m bored with this issue.

How about painting Boxer as a pro-abortion zealot who doesn’t care about the physical and mental health of girls and women targeted by Big Abortion for profit? And who has no empathy at all for the babies brutally killed by abortion?

It’s time to stop accepting the label of “extremist” for being pro-life. There is nothing extremist about being against murder. Nor is there anything extremist about wanting to empower women to take control of their own fertility, instead of telling them it’s okay to act like animals and then depend on some abortionist to kill the evidence.

'Woman's right to choose' ploy on election night minus 3 weeks.

Look for the 'anonymous-source-says-Carly-smokes-crack-and-frequents-strip-bars' ploy on election night minus 1 week.

If Boxer is any kind of a slimeball she's a predictable slimeball.

Boxer said ... "A woman's right to choose to kill her offspring is on the ballot here in California this year."

The name of the “anonymous source” is Bob Mullholland. He is the hatchet man of the California Democrat party. Ask Bruce Herchsenson.

Oh yeah - Bob's the guy Boxer fired with great fanfare, then quietly hired back a few days later.

She is quite a despicable rodent, isn't she.

70% of Americans favor banning partial birth abortion. Boxer has voted against banning this barbaric procedure at least twice. Who is the extremist here?

The only issue Boxer cares about...abortion. The rest of the state is worried about keeping their jobs. Boxer is worried about being able to keep the “right” to murder babies. This hag is so amazingly out of touch.

Leftist scum - like Mulholland to Boxer to Clinton to Obama - are nothing more than illegitimate leftwing hippy pretenders who consistently hide their true radical natures from the electorate and rule against the wishes of the people who voted them into office.

WHY is it so hard for the GOP to develop a successful strategy against them? Its not as though the left hasn't given them enough material to attack...

Exactly right. This is happening all over I believe. I have been receiving anti-Jamie Herrera (WA 3rd Cong. Dist. candidate) pamphlets calling her an extreme radical because she opposes the “right to choose”. I think that Patsy Murray is doing the same thing to Dino Rossi.
