So you think that choosing Palin would lead to the start of a new trend, of the media being hostile to the Republican Presidential candidate?

You forgot the /s tag. The media is hostile to GOP candidates, but I don't think any candidate has ever gotten as much heat as Palin. Think she'd make a good POTUS but don't think she'll win the primary with that kind of baggage.

“She also has a better grasp of the issues and can draw a sharp contrast with Obama”

Than who?

Neither. Both aren’t close to being equipped to run the free world. Palin is even less equipped and electable than the Huckster.

PALIN! Hey I recently had surgery and the PAIN pills, well I wrote PAIN on the lid, so they are easy to find when I am in pain. I noticed if you add an “L” in the middle of PAIN, you get PALIN. And that is what she causes the democrats = PAIN! LOL I adore her and she is much more of a man than Obama. Can you imagine Obama mushing those doggies on ice and snow? He is such a girl. I LOVE SARAH. Whomever runs on the “R” ticket, if it isn’t her, I hope they are half the leader she is!. and if she runs GREAT!

I realize that. However, I’ve been in politics a long time and nothing has ever come close to the attacks on Palin. She’s also getting it from the RINOs, and between them and the Dems, IMHO, she loses the primary.

Huckster is the second from the bottom for me just before Newt who will never get my vote due to his millions of marriages. Ok three marriages. I can sorta understand one failed marriage but multiple for a President.....NO WAY! And that is before I get to his global warming nonsense.

What a snarky little article. Once again a Dem telling us who Republicans can choose in the primary. Nice.

"Huckabee faced a legislature with 89 Democrats out of 100 legislators in the House and only four Republicans in the 35-seat Senate. Yet, Huckabee found a way to govern."

Yeah--he governed as a big-spending, amnesty-loving, criminal-coddling Democrat!

I can't believe anyone would choose Nanny Huckabee over Palin. I guess there are still some Christian Conservatives who see he was a minister and that's all that matters.

I’m with you naps - the question is who is at the BOTTOM of my list, and the Huckster is a contender as is Newt. I’ve gotten into arguments on this site with rabid Palin supporters but would vote for her in a nanosecond over the Huckster even though I don’t think she’s our best chance for 2012, given how the media has already poisoned the well for her.

The primary is the conservative base, Governor Palin is the frontrunner, of course she can win it.

Unless of course, you can get conservatives to not vote for her, because you fear the media will be mean to conservatism, and not be nice and sweet to us anymore.

I was around when Ronald Reagan was running the first time - they were much worse on him.

Mike Huckabee could pose fierce competition for Sarah Palin.

Another senator with no executive experience? That doesn’t seem to be working so well. Governor Jindal has declared he’s not running for president, and besides, I don’t believe his parents were citizens when he was born.
