Two liberal groups that have been going after the guv for his move to roll back collective bargaining have tweaked their TV ad to specifically call for the recall of GOP state senators.
The spot from the Progressive Change Campaign Committee and Democracy for America features interviews with protesters around the Capitol square talking about the personal impact of the austerity measures.
The tweaked ads do not show pictures of the targeted lawmakers, but finish with a screen shot calling for their recall and listing the Web address for RecalltheRepublicans.com.
The spot running in Green Bay mentions Sens. Randy Hopper, Robert Cowles and Luther Olsen. The revised spots are also running in La Crosse, where Sen. Dan Kapanke is a top target, and Milwaukee, where Dems are going after Sen. Alberta Darling.
The groups said they have established recall committees in Wisconsin and plan to tape a new recall ad in Wisconsin this weekend that they say will capture the grassroots magic of this recall effort.
If they really are counting on protesters to get their message across, they are stupider than we thought.

Madison/Milwaukee will go heavy for the recall. The rest of the state will go the other way. Result: liberal fail.
I bet you’re right - maybe close in LaX.
What about Milwaukee? Will anyone even vote with out money/cigs bribes?
Good—let the Rats spend ton$ of time and dollar$ in attempts to retake their mole mounds. To see them fail and flame out will be epic fun!
My senator, Dan Kapanke, has had to cancel public appearances due to death threats from pro-union thugs. Of course these death threats have been head-lined in all the big papers and other lib media. (snort)
Seems we can help send to the MSM. We need make this an issue. ESP. local news they would be more open to putting this on???
Dan is out and about in Viroqua today. Hubby just ran into him. From his description of the conversation, Dan is handling it all with poise.
I personally think Kapanke needs close supervision for potential squishiness, but he did hang tough in the end, so kudos to him for that. He _may_ have finally realized that he was elected by conservatives.
