Is it too much to ask whether we have any prospects out there who are proven leaders, solid conservative values and maybe a little combat time?
All we get are these mealy-mouthed self-interested hairpieces who want the job but aren't worthy of it - or just completely deranged, like Ron Paul.

His biggest weakness is he's short on political experience, which is a valid point, but he's got an impressive resume and he seems a solid conservative. His time may be at hand.

Is it too much to ask whether we have any prospects out there who are proven leaders, solid conservative values and maybe a little combat time? From the GOP? It's obviously too much to ask. They have no heavy hitters in the bigs, no farm system. They are totally unprepared and ill-equipped at a time when we have a president who is so easy to beat, and who we desparately need to beat.
This entire election season is an indictment of the GOP as much as it is an indictment of Obama. It's a pathetic spectacle of mediocrity. It's exactly why this country is the way it is today.
