Romney also feels he must hide an essential part of who he is: a pillar of the Mormon Church.If a priest or an imam or a rabbi were running who had devoted his life to his church with the same passion as Romney...I'd d@mn well want to know the details of his faith and satisfy myself that he wouldn't have divided loyalties.

If you’re looking for approval from Maureen Dowd and the NY Times they will demand that you pledge allegiance to Obambi and his socialist cohorts. There is no other way.
They will lose the Jewish vote if they make an issue out of religion. The Jewish are probably more sensitive about the persecution religious minorities than anybody else. This is a losing game for them.
