Problem is, elections aren't held on Sundays
I badly want to agree with Lt. Col. West, but I just cannot.
People have HIERARCHY OF NEEDS. To put it another way, they have PRIORITIES.
To African Americans, Gay marriage is LOW PRIORITY.
The priority is still ECONOMIC. Which is to say -— What are you going to GIVE for me in terms of welfare, housing, education, jobs, etc.
And unfortunately because of this, they will STILL vote for Obama and NOT CARE about gay marriage when they do.
To make a long story short — THEY WILL STILL VOTE MONEY FOR THEMSELVES FROM THE PUBLIC TREASURY.
I doubt Holder’s people are going to not vote for Obama just because he is pro queer.
The liberal white crackers down at the DNC will whip them into line before the “election”. No problem for Barry.
I doubt Obama will lose many black votes but I bet his big gay nonsense costs him the votes of a significant number of whites and latinos.
Maybe his number will go from 95% to 93%, but there will be no significant change.
Obama could sign a law requiring blacks to be hung from lampposts, and blacks would still vote for him.
Most blacks wouldn’t care less if they discovered that Obama was the vilest most despicable individual that ever existed ... he is black, therefore they will vote for him. As for his socialist leanings, many blacks already live in a socialist utopia ... no work required for food stamps, rent assistance, etc. Let someone else pay.

I would like to thank Joe Biden’s mouth, the Super Gaffe-O-Matic, for forcing Obama to own this issue.
Of course Obama will still get a high number of black votes. But, if even a small percentage don’t go to the polls over this, it will hurt him as he is down among several catagories of voters.
This issue does not help him except for money from his base and a temporary distraction from the dismal economy. I may be wrong, but I think in every state where the citizens were allowed to vote on same-sex marriage, it lost.
He can’t afford to lose any voters in any group. This doesn’t help him.
The only group this helps is the Gay-Lesbian agenda. Obama’s “support” to same-sex marriage further indoctrinates the public to the idea that homosexuality is acceptable and normal, that they are a noble, yet persecuted group - a group of high-minded Americans that are bullied and discriminated against by sour, hateful religious bigots.

There is nothing Obama could do short of personally lynching Oprah on live TV that would dissaude the black vote....be they dead or alive voters

I respect Rep. West greatly, but I seriously doubt it.
For some people, skin color is all that matters.
