Romney says America deserves prosperity
United Press International ^ | September 1, 2012

CINCINNATI, Sept. 1 (UPI) -- U.S. Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, campaigning in Florida Saturday after a stop in Ohio, said America deserves "a brighter, prosperous future."

"We're going to encourage individuals to know that they can build it here in America, that there's a brighter, prosperous future here," Romney told his supporters in Jacksonville, Fla. "You deserve that. You deserve that after these four years of trouble that you've had."

GOP vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan joined Romney in Jacksonville and urged Floridians to back Romney at the polls, Politico reported.

"Florida's going to elect Mitt Romney for the next president of the United States, aren't you? That's right," he said. "You have a big responsibility and a big opportunity. If Florida goes the right way, America goes the right way."

Earlier in the day, Romney stumped in Cincinnati, while Ryan campaigned in Columbus.

Ryan delivered a locker room pep talk to members of the football team at Miami of Ohio, his alma mater, before they played Ohio State. He also visited with tailgaters, flipped hamburgers and posed for photos.

In Cincinnati, Romney used football imagery when he said 23 million Americans are either out of work, underemployed or have stopped looking for jobs -- and said President Barack Obama should be replaced.

"If you have a coach that's zero and 23 million, you say it's time to get a new coach," Romney said. "It's time for America to see a winning season again, and we're going to bring it to 'em."

Reprising portions of his acceptance speech in Tampa, Fla., Thursday, Romney said Obama has disappointed many voters by failing to live up to his 2008 campaign promises.

"He famously said that he was going to slow the rise of the oceans," Romney told the audience in Cincinnati. "And he was going to heal the planet. And our promise to you is this: We're going to help the American people and help the families of America."

In response, Obama campaign spokeswoman Lis Smith said Romney is campaigning on "the same failed policies that crashed our economy and devastated the middle class in the first place and are promises the middle class just can't afford," The Washington Post reported.

"Mitt Romney spoke a lot about promises in Cincinnati today, but here are his promises to the middle class: a $2,000 tax hike for the average middle class family with kids to pay for tax cuts for the wealthy, turning Medicare into a voucher system, and deep cuts to critical investments in education and infrastructure," Smith said in a statement.

Romney told the Cincinnati crowd he would "do everything in my power to bring us together."

"Because America built the strongest economy in the history of the Earth. United, we put Neil Armstrong on the moon. United, we faced our own unspeakable darkness. United, our men and women in uniform continue to defend freedom today. I love those people who serve our great nation. This is a time for us to come together as a nation. We do not have to have the kind of divisiveness and recriminations we have seen over the past four years. I will bring us together. America is going to come roaring back. A better future is ahead. It's out there waiting for us."

I’ve notice something curious in media stories reporting on Romney/Ryan campaign stops = they ALWAYS include O”Bumma/Scoialists rebuttals.

Why can’t they just report on the story at hand?

Like they do on O’bumma’s -

rally not curious - same ole, same ole

Logically "prosperity" is something we earn as individuals or nations.

No one "deserves" prosperity. Use of the word "deserves" in this context implies that prosperity can be GIVEN by someone or something.

Certainly Obama does not give us prosperity. The state does not give out prosperity either.

Prosperity is so much better than disparity because it’s nicer.

That is rather like saying good is better than evil because it, too, is nicer.

Prosperity is its own virtue, and is the natural consequence of allowing the capitalistic system to do what it does best - concentrate the resources and talents of men for the common goal of raising the average of living standards for everybody.

Not every one shares equally in the fruits of this capitalist-driven form of prosperity, but even the few who are disproportionately outdistanced by the biggest gains, are infinitely better off, in terms of access to the goods and services that the sum total of society has to offer, than by any “redistribution” scheme that seeks an equal outcome for everybody.

Prosperity is the result of making the pie so much bigger, so much faster, that even a very small slice is WAY more in quantifiable and absolute terms, than a very large slice of a very small pie.

The liberals seem to believe the pie may be neither grown nor diminished, and that is to fly in the face of all logic.

The fact is, the pie MUST be grown, or else it shrinks dramatically until want is felt by all.

Fortunately or unfortunately, the world keeps on finding new pies, either replenishing the old diminished pies, or forging a whole new class of pie, and for at least short periods, propserity returns, if at a somewhat uneven pace.

Gov. Romney and Rep. Ryan are pro-life, as is the Republican Party platform and most of the GOP members of Congress.

I think Governor Romney means he’ll get government out of our way so that we are able to prosper.

Attention — The above is not true, even Ryan has caved on life, agreeing now with one of Romney’s exceptions for killing a newly conceived baby in it’s mother’s womb (if she was raped). Ryan is following his boss and for what, power and ambition. There are many videos of Romney with a smile on his face professing to be pro-abortion. All his decisions since taking elected office have been for abortion.

message from Jesus given to a Chosen Child in Chicago

August 28, 2012 (10:10am)

Tell My beloved children to say what they want to say to loved ones. For some of you this may be your last chance. If you had been paying attention to what the Holy Spirit has been prompting you to do in your heart you will be prepared for anything. You must take this precious time and make the most of it. So many of you are realizing that time seems to be slipping away and you can’t figure out why you can’t accomplish all you set out to do in a day. This is true My children this compressed time you are experiencing will continue to diminish and there won’t be time for anything you think is so important. This is God’s way of getting your attention and calling you back to Him in prayer. My dear ones, you have been warned of natural disasters and if you are alert to them you will see God’s hand in all of them. The hurricane which will occur will cause much heartache for many of My children. The drought has already affected many of your lives. Not only for the farmers and fruit growers but for the people having to go without some of the products they normally enjoyed due to the high prices at the store. My dear children, watch what will take place in the conventions that are taking place. Remember the man chosen for these times will be 100% pro-life WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. So, My dear ones, do you see any candidate answering that description? The MIRACLE will HAVE TO TAKE PLACE in order for this to happen. Keep praying My children the best is yet to come.

I love you, Jesus.

I am going to believe Romney, a non-Christian who built an elevator for his car. Goes with all his nonsensical beliefs. Have you ever read what Mormons profess?

Prosper how? Our nation mocks God every day for almost fifty years, putting into law mortal sin. Judgment has started and it is a just judgment. Above all, God is loving and merciful, if He can’t reach you because of free will, He tries other ways. His judgment is really His mercy, understand?

Your kidding, right?

Romney says abortion should be legal for rape, incest and HEALTH and life of the mother. Why should a baby be murdered because their dad was a criminal?

http://www.washingtonpost.com/national/health-science/romney-says-abortion-should-be-legal-for-rape-incest-and-health-and-life-of-the-mother/2012/08/27/5d232a2c-f091-11e1-b74c-84ed55e0300b_story.html

Abortion for health of mother (not taking about life)

Whether it is stress, pressure from family, or a simple case of morning sickness, all of these are considered legitimate grounds for an abortion under current U.S. law. Essentially, a woman can have an abortion at any time, for any stated reason, and somehow it can be related to “health.” Even most people who identify as pro-choice would not agree with this ruling.

Do some research into how religious foundation hospitals are sold to secular holding companies because they cannot meet Obamacare mandates.

Then think long and hard about those ramifications.

Changing the subject does not change the fact that Romney and the GOP are moving left and telling social conservatives they are giving up on abortion and the gay agenda. Just because Obama is evil, does not mean the right should join them. Right now they are saying some abortion is ok and giving gays some of what they want is ok, what else are they giving the left to win at all cost?

I don’t watch T.V. I can’t answer you. Go back to the
subject, Romney. Our Lord’s words, are important especially if you believe there can be exceptions to abortion. There are none, even when the mother’s life is threatened.

“The ramifications of Obamacare will include higher incidents of abortion, elderly starvation deaths, and eventually euthanasia.

It is currently the law of the land.

Of course, this whole sidetrack has nothing to do with wanting policies that encourage the prosperity of this nation”...

~ ~ ~

The “sidetrack” is to show Romney and Obama, you cannot
prosper going against God. History shows it, don’t they see, God knows what is best for us.

How awful, it’s horrid, neither one of them does.
