Sarah Palin: She still has Facebook!
The Washington Post ^ | February 1, 2013 | Erik Wemple

Posted on 02/01/2013 10:50:08 PM PST by 2ndDivisionVet

The writing-off of Sarah Palin began not long after her departure from Fox News hit the newswaves last Friday. The Post’s Chris Cillizza wrote on Monday that Palin is now “officially gone,” at least from the national spotlight.

And MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell bid the failed 2008 vice presidential candidate a self-satisfied adieu, saying that Palin had now lost the “slightest connection to political relevance.”

Vincent Harris, a social-media consultant who helps Republican campaigns, wonders about O’Donnell’s conflict of interest in issuing those words: “He’s a … cable-news host! I mean, what else is he going to say? He’s speaking for cable news in some ways,” says Harris, arguing that the act of dissing Palin’s continued relevance is an old-media phenomenon.

Harris knows old media from new media. He managed social-media stuff for Newt Gingrich’s failed 2012 presidential run and drew plaudits for similar work on the campaign of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.), who secured an endorsement from Palin.

With Fox News or without Fox News, says Harris, “Gov. Palin is an Internet celebrity, she’s an Internet politician; and her supporters aren’t going anywhere.” Have a look at her Facebook page and her nearly 3.5 million “likes.”(continued)

Sarah Palin lives rent free in the heads of libs 24/7..for someone who is supposedly “irrelevant” they sure do talk about her a lot and try to figure out “What will she do next” if she were so irrelevant why would they care..its because they know what we all already know..they are stone cold terrified of her..always have been and always will be

I think people are missing the point here.

Palin is not a PAID Fox Contributor. This does not mean she can’t make appearances on this or any other network.

In fact it may free her up to make MORE appearances.

She can still be booked as a guest on Fox. She’s just not being paid as a contributor.

Silly buttmunch. She's still living rent free in your head, and not going anywhere.

On Facebook:
Sarah Palin
3,492,282 likes · 109,035 talking about this

Let's see; maybe on a FoxNews "better day", their viewership might have shot to three million for a segment or two (when Sarah Palin happened to have a segment with Greta or Hannity).

Just for one example: Her Jan 24 Facebook comment on "Army Removes Crosses, Steeple from Chapel", showed immediately on 3.49 Million other individual Facebook pages, from which about half would click Share, sending it on to about 6.2 Million other people, more than doubling her Fox News exposure, in the time of the first set of mouse clicks.

From her own Facebook page, her comment on this article garnered 29,807 Likes; 10,101 Shares; and 4,799 Comments.

Each of those 10,101 direct Shares gets multiplied by the 262 average Facebook users per person, pushing her initial exposure to 2.6 Million at the speed of the first set of mouse clicks. By the second set of mouse clicks, the public exposure to her one little comment has exponentiated beyond 300 Million, to as many as 600 Million people around the world.

Within the next few hours, several thousand bloggers and MSM internet gutter-snipes have posted responses to Palin's comment on their respective pages, to their respective readerships. Now all the liberals are steaming smoke from their ears (doesn't matter why; they just do).

By sunrise her local time, practically everybody in the world with an internet connection (except Humblegunner) knows what she said about one arcane article.

Then she can Laugh Out Loud while she's making a sandwich.

She is flying under their radar. She is as popular as ever as we will see soon beginning at CPAC.

Speaking of relevance Lawrence O’Donnell, if you asked 100 people on the street to identify you or Sarah I wonder who would they know?

Hey man - thanks for keeping the Palin posts coming!

Despite the naysayers - she is still quite relevant.

Justin Bieber has more than twice that amount of Twits and
Facebook Fawners following him, and he’s just a little fag.

I don’t follow anybody.

Why would you? Why feed into the notion that someone who says things with which you agree is somehow better than you for doing
nothing more challenging than saying the same things you do?

I guess we have to start counting Sarah's facebook likes eh, Ping?

I sure am glad Jeb Bush and Chris Christie get this kind of scrutiny from the Media and even our own damn people.

Oh Wait they don't.

RINO's are granted free passes.

RINO's are granted free passes.

Only until they win the nomination........then they suddenly become radical right wing extremists......
