OK, that's an unpopular thing to say today but I agree with it philosophically.
Then they played a clip of Perry backtracking on that and saying that it was 'a poor choice of words' and that he 'stepped in it'.
Perry is a likable guy, ran a state, got reelected while taunting Dems, I like him, but he just is STILL a time bomb in front of cameras. We cant afford that.

If you have ever seen a true alcoholic, it is not controllable.
People who have an alcohol problem have a controllable problem.
But the real alcoholic is usually untreatable and death is usually the end result.
