It was the Republicans in Washington and their allies in Mississippi who distributed fliers to Democrats in Mississippi calling conservatives racists, klansmen, Nazis, etc. It was a concerted effort by the GOP to beat their own base at any cost.
And here’s the kicker — there will be no consequence if they have their way. That begs the question of whether there should be. Should the Republican establishment in Washington get away with tarring its own voters as racists? Should the Republican establishment in Washington get away with comparing its own base to Klansmen?
If there is no penalty for doing so, they will keep doing it. If there is no consequence, they will attack their own base to preserve their power. They will learn no lesson. In fact, some of you may want to donate to Travis Childers, Thad Cochran’s Democrat opponent. I cannot say that I blame you.
Cochran will now put the highest bidders first. The GOP will carry out this tactic of calling you racist klansmen Nazis everywhere it works. I would like to see the GOP get the majority and oust Harry Reid as leader. But I understand if you think Mississippi can still be sacrificed.
I won’t join you. But I understand. If the GOP is allowed to get away with how they won in Mississippi, they will never really practice what they preach when it comes to limited government. There must be some consequence. I am just not sure what it should be. But I’m pretty damn sure it shouldn’t be that the base is treated as the battered wife of the Establishment. Right now that seems to be the case.
McConnell has to go. It was he who fundraised for Cochran to crush us.
Reverse chaos has to take McConnell out, for any hope to stop the Uni Party. They have given us the Mississippi template for how to take the opponent out.
We either answer with equal force or we are done and so is the Republic.

We'll be better off if an HOR with more conservatives takes back their power of the purse and articulates constitutional conservative principles. Not getting the Senate because of RINO treachery alienating conservative votes just might finally get the message across.
Playing the race card against their own is disgusting. About the only thing they can do is figure out a way for Cochran to lose on a recount....or something like that. What they did cannot be allowed to stand. McDaniels is the only Republican in Mississippi who earned the right to run for that Senate seat.

I certainly hope so, because two more years of treachery by the Establishment (and their lemming voter props) the Constitution itself won’t matter.
Someone posited earlier that Cochran will retire soon after his reelection, and Barbour’s son will be appointed to his seat. Not sure if this is how it works in Mississippi, but you can’t overlook any sleazy tactic by power hungry rinos.

Boehner and McConnell, McCain, etc., are all bought and paid for by Uni Party donors and global interests. We conservatives have NOTHING but our vote to counter corruption.

No more tax cuts for these people until the border is secure and they invest in a fair media. If they cannot cut spending then by god they should pay for it. Sell out Mister you shell out.
If Cochran wins, not consequences. If he loses, yes. So, I’ll let you know in November.
We can give the senate seat to the democrats, it’s Mississippi’s not the personal property of a bunch of shady politicians.
