Because the Left REALLY wants the Republican Party to be more successful. Yeah, that's the ticket! What are the "Reformicons" another name for the Bush/Romney/Christie/Rove/McConnell wing?

In other words, the only way for the Republicans to be saved is to become Democrats.

Looks like the Republicans are going to save me some time during the upcoming elections. I can use my former voting time to purchase....er....things that I can use during the soon to come CW-II.

I most certainly will not vote Repulsican ever again should RINOs prevail.

the group of conservative intellectuals who have taken it upon themselves to reform the Republican Party into something less dogmatic and more electable

Tell us again who was responsible for the 2010 GOP turnaround? The Tea Party.

Tell us again who was responsible for losing in 2012? Establishment squish Mitt Romney.

How these pinheads decide what is electable in the face of recent history is beyond me.

The only sentence I agree with is the last one.

The GOP is a party that doesn’t want to be saved.

It seems to me that these “Reformicons(?)” are neither reformers nor conservatives. With them the reform is only skin deep, look more like the democrats to run, act more like democrats (cheat, steal, and fraud) to ensure the win. There is not a single thing conservative about any of that and all of it needs to be completely swept out.

I think the party is going to split, and then the Conservatives can save their part and the establishment can save their part.

Pundits were commenting on the resurgence of conservative intellectualism

Calling the analytically deficient, "pundits," or "resurgent intellectuals," adds not one iota to their credibility in an argument.

You have posted a good example of ridiculous over-reaching by misusing words.
