Those folks, for the most part, were unarmed. We sure as hell are not.Our history books are full of instances where locals took on corrupt leaders. In my state the more recent ones were Battle of Athens and another one was a McNairy County Marine vet took a big stick to a corrupt sheriffs department owned by the Dixie Mafia. Other ones include the War of Coal Creek where local miners captured a state militia the governor had sent in LOL.
