Whether it's Cruz/Carson or Carson/Cruz, the Democrat ticket will have reason to worry. An Hispanic&Black ticket is the GOP's best hope to beat Hillary, or who ever is the nominee. This ticket will have the left leaning media in a state of panic. They can't bash a minority ticket. And what will Debbie Wasserman do? Accuse Ted and Ben of wife beating? If Hillary is the nominee and she is up against Cruz/Carson, will be interesting to see how she tries to tear down the first "Black/Hispanic Ticket".
A Cruz/Carson ticket is interesting, but the real meat of their administration would be who their cabinet officers would be: hopefully “hatchet men”, who would first fire corrupt bureaucrats by the tens of thousands, and would work with congress to slash vast amounts of regulations and government intrusion, while reducing the size of some agencies by half, and eliminating others entirely.

Ugh, don’t argue from an affirmative action standpoint, that really cheapens whatever politician you’re attempting to talk up. Cruz doesn’t deserve the “oh, and he’s Hispanic” stuff.

Your point is well take Betty, but, let’s be realistic. The OVERWHELMING majority of voters are low-informed voters. So, if you can get a great Conservative team that can appeal to the large minority voting bloc, why not? We lost in ‘08 because we ran a boring old, white fart with no real vision for America. It was just “his turn”. The Dems ran a young, charismatic Black dude.....and well, the rest is history. In ‘92 the Dems nominated a young, energetic governor with a vision for America (albeit a horrible vision) against a tired, old, white, Washington-insider dude who was so out of touch he was amused by scanners at the check out line at a super market.... he kept looking at his watch in a Debate that made him look like he was saying: “Damn, it’s 9:00 p.m..... it’s past my bedtime. So, if you can appeal to the idiot voters to help put a great team in the White House and VP residence..... hell why not? I am so freakin’ tired of losing elections because we think the majority of the people in this nation really care about issues..... BULLS**T!
Ted Cruz is not a foreigner. And Perry is not one of us.

Well, EEE, in ‘08 America elected a dumb a** Black dude who was a Community Organizer with only 2 years in the Senate and most of that time was spent running for President. Times have changed man. If you can get a good team elected because of their race, hell, go for it. I’M TIRED OF LOSING ELECTIONS BECAUSE ALL WE HAVE TO OFFER ARE TIRED, OLD, WHITE FARTS.
I would not vote for that ticket just because cruz is on it. I will Never vote for a non Natural Born Citizen.

If Cruz runs and wins the nomination he’s from Texas so he’s going to need to pick somebody from say FLa, Ohio, Penn etc for VP. A must have state.

He’s not just your ordinary doctor. I suggest you get the DVD and watch the movie of his life story; “Healing Hands”. And btw, this nation elected an ignorant, Muslim from Kenya who was nothing but a Community Organizer; elected him two times. Oh, I know he was a Senator; yeah for two years and most of that time was spent running for Prez.

If you think Mexicans see Cruz, a descendant of white Spaniards, as one of them, you’re mistaken. Most of them are here for the freebies and the handouts. They will vote Dem, as they always do.
And in case you’ve been under a rock for the last, oh, decade or so, blacks (who vote overwhelmingly for Dems) have nothing but scorn for black Republicans. Condoleeza Rice, Allen West, Herman Cain, etc...they’re all Uncle Toms and “not really black.” Did you just sleep through all of that? Why would you think things would be any different if Carson was a candidate?
You can pander if you want to, but leave me out of it.
