Why African-Americans Should Vote Republican
Mequon Now ^ | November 9, 2014 | Gary Wickert

On April 10, President Barack Obama and two former Democrat presidents, Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Civil Rights Act and the legacy of former President Lyndon B. Johnson at Johnson’s presidential library in Austin. Never one to let facts get in the way or pass up an opportunity to mislead his country, the president cast LBJ and the Democrat Party as champions of civil rights and said that without LBJ’s push to end legal segregation he himself wouldn’t be in the White House. Racism, political correctness, and a civil rights struggle without end are all seemingly essential to the survival of the Democrat Party. But it was Dwight D. Eisenhower and Republicans who are to be credited with the advance of modern civil rights – not LBJ and the Democrats who fought it every step of the way. In fact, the depth of Johnson’s strong opposition to civil rights is a convenient fact lost to political history. Honoring the success of civil rights in America and reminding ourselves how far we have come is important and laudable. Rewriting history is not.

As time shifts, so does the political landscape. Memories fade and history is rewritten for political purposes. It has been this way from time immemorial. The use of time is an extremely important tool for shaping public opinion. Nowhere has this been more successful than with the history of civil rights in America. The struggle for civil rights in America is storied and well-documented, yet its history is has been completely misunderstood, intentionally distorted, and rewritten for political expediency. You wouldn’t know it from watching MSNBC, but throughout history it was been the Republican Party which has spearheaded and championed civil rights for both minorities and women...

82-Year-Old Black Grandma Votes Republican “Because of What Democrats Have Done to My People”

Not exactly what C-SPAN expected to run right before airing someone from the Center for American Progress.

A self-described “82-year-old black senior citizen grandmother” named Joyce called C-SPAN to explain why she voted for the Republican candidate in every race on the ballot this cycle.

I voted straight Republican because I have noticed for years what the Democrat Party has done to my people,” she said. “Unemployment is higher in the black community that it is — double with unemployment than it is anywhere else.”
“There’s no way I could continue to say I’m a Christian and stay with the Democrat Party,” she continued. “They advocate the killing of babies and taking from the doers and giving to the ones sitting doing nothing.”

(1) If they truly want to destroy the USA, vote democrat.

They may think it would be okay for our system to be destroyed but they would soon realize they were very wrong.

Another reminder of Republican deviltry. “Civil rights” is the abrogation of free and voluntary association. Now we have people being forced to do business with sodomites against their conscience. No I am not a racist. Repugnant to discriminate on basis of race. But it is a fundamental right. “Civil right” are those given by government and counter natural rights.
The government needs to get out of the way and let free people sort it all out themselves. Not everybody is going to like you. Deal with it. Grow up.

I'll guarantee he didn't mention this quote:

“I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years.” —Lyndon B. Johnson to two governors on Air Force One -

More and more blacks are looking off the plantation for greater freedom.

For instance, Clint (The hot dog guy) and Linda Tarver seen having breakfast with Michigan Secretary of State Ruth Johnson the morning after the election.

If they ever want to get off LBJ’s and the Marxist’s plantation now would be a good time.

In Texas we knew. We also knew you didn’t f**k with Lyndon. So we did the next best thing and got him out of Texas to Washington.

It took a few extra votes in Box 13. Some of the dead in the local cemetery who voted for him are probably still voting democratic to this day, but we got him elected and away from Texas.

It didn’t take long for Washington to know how persuasive Lyndon could be either. Lyndon, with a little help from J. Edgar Hoover, forever changed the political landscape in Washington. To this day, the democrats are still cleaning up and hiding things in order to revise his image.

Lyndon didn’t hate black people. In fact, there seemed to be an attraction between him and people of color. He liked to use them and they liked it when he used them. If Lyndon liked you that was something you could take to the bank and be proud of. If he disliked you, you were f**ked or fixin’ to be. He was a powerful man politically and in many other ways. Lyndon sold everyone on his great society, both democrats and republicans, and the rest is history.

After fifty years the Great Society has failed to materialize and the only ones black people blame are the Republicans. They are slowly coming around to believe they are being used by the liberal democrats and socialist. (I want to reiterate the democrats of Lyndon’s day were much more moderate than today and many have shifted to the republican side in Texas.) Anyway, nothing is going to change until black people accept their part of the blame for the Great Society’s failure. That’s where we are today.

Now, Lyndons gone and there is a lot of speculation in Texas as whether Lyndon made it to Heaven. The odds are against that, but since the devil didn’t want him or Texas, we just don’t know....

/SARC, maybe...

I have met Joyce and enjoy her wonderful castigation of the liberal mindset of blacks in this country. She calls in from time to time to The Michael Berry Show and is referred to as “The Sage of Sunnyside”.
He even let her host a segment on the show, I believe while his wife Nandita was being sworn in as the Secretary of State for us Texans.
Joyce Rocks!

Leftists always want to tear down George Washington and Thomas Jefferson as slave holders. How about LBJ and Carter? LBJ was as racist as any Democrat ever. His reasons for passing the Civil Rights Act were political, not moral. He just wanted the mantle of Kennedy, and to have the N*s voting for him, in his words. Carter came out of the Lester Maddox wing of the Georgia Jim Crow Party. Whenever their names are mentioned, conservatives should always preface the reference with “avowed racist”.
