He said it. I don’t think he meant it. He says what will sell and make him sound reasonable so the media can fawn all over him. Then he DOES just the opposite — often.
My point is that he does not worry about making the other side happy. No bipartisanship (except in rhetoric). He is the grand IDEOLOGUE. He will stop at nothing to get his way. So what is good for the goose is good for the gander. We should do absolutely everything legal to get our way.
