"As Mitt Romney’s candidacy painfully showed us, Republicans can consolidate behind the most qualified person in America to serve as president..."

Was dope recently legalized in Virginia?

They should just nominate a yellow dog. The GOP is dead to me.

The GOPee needs to focus on the now and their governance of Congress. They way they are going will preclude there being a GOP POTUS in 2016 no matter who they run.

I have an idea; Maybe they should nominate someone who can win?

They have not tried that for awhile.

Personally at this point the question is a distraction and not the one to ask.

The answer is we elect the best damn conservative candidate around. Whatever he/she is is secondary.

Ted Cruz is the only one I would consider.

A governor and a senator, in either order.

“Should Republicans Nominate a Governor or Senator in 2016?”

They know that they probably should, but they fear that it might just make the media to be harsh with them again.

Why bother, we just gave the Democrats at least nine million new votes.

Another BUMP for CRUZ.

America needs someone who has the vision for what America was and to re-implement the Constitution.

First and foremost, DEPORT all ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS and stop providing any taxpayer-funded benefits.

We have > 40 MILLION ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS and they must ALL return to their home country - either voluntary or by force.

It’s not rocket science to grasp these ILLEGAL ALIEN INVADERS represent a clear and present danger to America and our Constitution...and they are ILLEGAL.

I think it is more like 40 million. The only hope the republican have at winning is to nominate Hillary now.

While I’m in agreement with your idea .. implementing it will be very, very difficult.

The libs will go ballistic .. and I wouldn’t even put it past them to arm the illegals.

This will be a mess for “Dreamers”; most of whom are really good kids (now in high school) who came here through no fault of their own. I do have a soft spot for them .. but .. they will need to be counseled on how their actions will get them to UN-dreamer status very quickly.

Re: Dreamers and ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS.

They need to learn America is governed by the rule of law - not feelings.

They can simply return to their home country, get in line and apply for citizenship.

Cruz has stated NO ONE residing in America can apply for citizenship.

As I stated above, Rule of Law trumps liberal feelings.

In the case of Walker and Cruz, I’ll take either.
