This is why I’m still registered as a Republican so I can vote in the primary for Conservartives like Cruz.

I cannot vote for Walker. I absolutely loathe him and Jeb Bush. I hope neither of them is the GOP candidate. I want Cruz.

It looked to me like they threw the last two Presidential elections.

I'll never forget McCain at a roast of some kind with Obama. He said, don't be afraid of Obama, "He'll make a good President."

My mouth dropped open since this was before the election. And McCain assisted in the hatchet job on Sarah.

“Firebrand” sounds like their first talking point.

No, their first talking point was 'uppity.'

By no means is Cruz a lock, I agree with you on that point. It’s frustrating right now because we have to wait until the debates to see how things will shake out. If Cruz puts on a strong performance and starts winning primary debates then I think he has a great shot to win the nomination. In 2012 we had such weak candidates running, a couple of washed up politicians, a pizza man and a governor who made the Obamacare prototype. Just by watching and following Cruz the last three years, I think he has the excitement and skill that can win a presidential race, unlike Fred Thompson he is a masterful debater, a great communicator, and is proud of conservatism and Chritsianity. I think Cruz has an excellent shot.

I favor governors with proven executive experience. Must have a record of balancing state budget with lower taxes! And increasing PRIVATE SECTOR jobs in the state.

Right now 2 proclaimed candidates fit that bill... Kasich and Walker.

But if both falter in primaries, then I will go with Cruz or Jindal.

Governors are proven compromisers.

Compromise is how a democratic republic works.
Every law passed must have congress approval.
We do not need another dictator like Obama,
who can’t get congress to go along his leftist agenda,
so keeps issuing executive orders & secret negotiations
with Iran’s Mullah’s.

that’s cuz Fred’s BFF wanted the nomination more, and then McCain could ensure that yet another election would be thrown to the dog Dems.
