Didn’t guess entirely in that Walker was there. But it is just leftist wishful thinking. We believe in a real and fair contest on the right. Unlike the left that just crowns whoever is the most extreme leftist at the moment.
Why does anyone at Slate give a rodent’s rectum about the Republican ticket? Why would any Conservative give an airborne fornication what Slate has to say about the Republican ticket.
Those people are not on our side. Anything they say for our consumption should be considered total garbage.
" I will hug him, and stroke him, and cuddle him, and sing to him, and call him George, duh... "
Why should Trump be allowed to be considered a Republican candidate?
Well, on the bright side, they may all O.D. on ignorance before it’s all over with. Can’t wait to hear the whining disbelief when the election results come in.
This is a thinly disguised hit piece on Cruz by Slate.
He must be over the target...
Pretty much what I expected
I did not read Slate’s spew. However, My take is there are 3 likely contenders, Cruz, Walker and Bush. The one the Left fears seems to be Walker. Its puzzling why the left is being nice to Cruz.
I would suspect The Elitists plan seems to be to dilute the field so much no one will get a large number of votes then use their vote fraud machine to swing the primary to the most GOPe candidate that is in - likely Bush.
Walker is a great candidate imho. We have a few good ones this time.
I don’t think anyone is behind the large field. I see it as a positive that we have many contenders. I do not think Bush is viable. He is enjoying early name recognition and nothing more. Regardless, we need to treat each and every candidate fairly and with respect. We live in a republic. Let the people choose rather than the loud-mouths who try to knock some out before they have even had a chance to compete.
I think the press has been terrible to Cruz. As for who they fear, I would say it is the one that best articulates a conservative viewpoint. The press will try to do our choosing for us by promoting the least conservative candidates. We need to stop falling for that trick.
“Why should Trump be allowed to be considered a Republican candidate?”
I don’t know. Maybe because he’s a registered republican? What about Lindseed Graham, Hustle Huckabee, Jeb the Dem Bush? Whats the beef with Trump? He’s actually worked at a job, created jobs and made 7 billion bucks. He’s not in bed with big donors and lobbyists. Unlike my current number one pick Ted Cruz he didn’t vote for cloture on the Trade bill today. How effed up is that? I say let Trump run.
Which is what makes it such entertaining reading...
” Its puzzling why the left is being nice to Cruz.”
It’s simple really if you were not paying attention 4 years ago. the MSM leftards were nice to McCain before the nominations because they were setting him up as their man. Once the nomination was in, so was the target which made it easier for the left to go on a seek and destroy mission.
Same thing with Romney LOL. The set up before the kill has always been a mainstay for the MSM.
I just don’t understand the enthusiasm for Rubio.
He wasn’t a Republican until it was convenient. He bashed Republicans. He covered for Obama in 2012. He bankrupted four companies. He depends on big hoverment. He recently bragged about being the entitlement president. He has NO intention of running, he’s just making a laughingstock of Republicans.
Running for President isn’t about winning the Presidency.
It is about raising your profile as a leader - go consolidate power, prestige, speaking fees, opportunities from lobbyists, etc.
... which is of course what politics is about from their point of view.
Heck Trump announces he is considering running every time.
Do you really think the left wants to see Cruz as our candidate?
