What would the first 100 days of a Cruz administration look like?

Earlier this week, Ted spoke with the Washington Post's James Hohmann about what the first 100 days of a Cruz administration might look like -- and we hope you're as excited for them as we are! With regard to the current administration, Ted noted, “If you live by the pen, you die by the pen. Everything put in place by executive order can be undone by executive order,” and that he'd use the transition put together a team to review every executive action made by President Obama and then rescind each and every one that exceeds "the Constitutional and legal authority of the President."

He also said he'd take quick action to ensure Iran doesn't acquire nuclear weapons, take steps to strengthen our relationship with Israel, push far-reaching tax and regulatory reform -- including a full repeal of Obamacare, and fight to put an end to Common Core. Read more from the interview here.

This week, Ted also spoke about how the upcoming King v. Burwell Supreme Court decision provides an opportunity for leadership. In the event the court rules the Obama Administration acted illegally in providing millions of Obamacare subsidies, Ted stated he opposes the approach advocated by some of continuing the subsidies through 2017. Instead he said, "I think the best legislative option is to allow states to opt out. I am cautiously optimistic that the Supreme Court will conclude in King v. Burwell that the Obama IRS disregarded the plain language of the statute and acted lawlessly. And when that occurs, it will be a real opportunity for Congress to lead. In a perfect world, we would take that opportunity to repeal Obamacare. At a minimum, we should allow states to opt out.”

We also wanted to make sure you saw this article from National Journal earlier this week. In it, Ted is deemed the "Man of the Movement" for his courtship of conservative leaders at a recent forum with six other presidential contenders. Ted was described as "pitch perfect" and it was noted he "blew everyone else out of the water." And perhaps most importantly, he laid out a real strategy to win. I hope you'll read it here.

As always, we thank you for your continued support -- together we'll reignite the promise of America!

All the best,

Jeff Roe Campaign Manager Cruz for President

P.S. Next Friday, Ted will hold townhall meetings across Iowa, and if you're in the area, we'd love to have you there. Click here to find an event near you.

....”There are thousands of workers that may be slightly lacking in skills for a job position. Minimal training would bring them up to snuff and ready for the job”....

Nonsense....I have worked with the workforce placing people in positions, often finding they do not have the aptitude to absorb the training.....and as often an attitude that is untrainable because they have an overinflated opinion of what they can do.

We have oodles of job training programs and those that should be there don't want to work to begin with. I've heard it all...

As for corporations ...of course they're going to look at their bottom line....they always have.

As for HI-B visa workers.....you're not going to stop that as this is a global initiative and all nations are on board with it...including our leadership....and if you think otherwise then you're objection would seem more to use HI-B visa issue a means of attack candidates other than the one you'd prefer.

I did not call Ted Cruz a warmonger. Ted Cruz has good qualities and bad qualities as a candidate. Some "Cruzers" would have me suspend all cognitive reason and forgo the bad points.

Instead why not tell us about Cruz's good points, because defending free trade and h-1b is a loser, at least with me.

In reality other than repealing Obama’s executive orders and perhaps improving relations with Israel, everything else in the list is a pipe dream. Between Democrat filibusters and enemies in his own party President Cruz will have a lot of people working against him.

H-1b can be easily killed off. Your support for H-1b is a turn off to Ted Cruz, Cruzers need to get a clue. When you defend H-1b you are actaully hurting any chances of me voting against my self interest and going with Cruz, get it?

What an embarrassment this site is currently to any who might even consider checking to see what candidates are and doing...

As I mentioned in another thread. We don’t know who they are: other Republican campaign operatives, Hillary’s camp, union thugs, Castro brothers, ISIS, LGBT, etc. What we know is that they fear Ted Cruz the most. Free Republic is a Conservative site. Most of us here support Ted Cruz. Naturally, Free Republic is turning into a battleground.

When there is a lot of negativity to drown out legitimate comments, people just turn away, therefore not getting informative knowledge about candidates. Their goal is also to post misinformation for low information voters.

Look at the topic of TPA and TPP. Instead of informing themselves to know even that TPA and TPP are different, they call people who are for TPA traitors. And they repeat the same talking point after being informed about the difference. When they lose the debate because of the fact, they move the goal post.

I am not for any candidate as we are 7 months away from the first primary. Therefore I have plenty of time to whore my self out to another establishment candidate. I guess i will start compromising my core beliefs around Christmas time. I just “love” the Republican Party.

....”H-1b can be easily killed off”......

Oh you think so?....then why hasn’t it been yet????

The ONLY restrictions were done by Obama on the banks and financial institutions in order to keep the revenue flow in control.

So why wasn’t that extended and fought for to include all corporations???

I’ll tell you why...because like it or not corporations no longer see “borders” when it comes to employees at all levels....they operate with ‘International Competitiveness’ in mind as employees are seen as a commodity.

Now if we don’t open our country to more with higher skills, education, and expereince they darn well will go to other nations where OUR companies are located and will continue to be....and we’ll end up ONLY with the refugees and southern nation immigrants feeding at the trough.

Wall st., club for growth and the CoC have bought and paid for the current immigration situation. Is anyone on K st. fighting to oppose sleazy immigration practices? I think IEEE is the only lobby group opposed that I am familiar with, but the word is getting out. Public opinion is changing.

If Cruz supporters are sleazeballs like you then why should I support him?
