The problem is that the Republican Party’s position on immigration is largely viewed by the rest of the country as wrong. Donald Trump is destroying the party’s chances in 2016 by further pushing Hispanic voters into the Democratic column.

I work with many latinos, and they have ALL told me the EXACT same thing. Most tell me the reason their parents came here was to get away from the scum and corruption going on down there. They know even more than most of us NOT to want these people here

I listened to the discussion after Ted Cruz was interviewed on Meet The Press and a woman on the panel briefly said Cruz should not have agreed with Trumps hyperbole. That is not at all what Cruz did. I thought to myself at the time that they are going to try to make it look like he did from now on. That is exactly what happened here. These people are such snakes.

I think that unless another contender can more concisely communicate Trump’s views in a believable way, I will go with Trump at this point...

Cruz comes closest at this point, we’ll just have to see.
