Trump has generated a huge amount of passion about this election in a short period of time, and the dialogue initiated by his comments can only be helpful in the grand scheme of things - IMHO. The opposition from the Republicans is from two camps, those who don't want to stem illegal immigration (and who will likely support amnesty), and those who are too afraid of backlash to speak their minds. If Trump's comments make the first group declare their true intentions, and push the second group to be more vocal about what they believe, then he will have positively impacted the election. Whatever side people come down on, let it at least be out in the open.

Exactly. Right now they are trying to shout him down and by extention any one who agrees with him. I hate that old bs comment we are all immigrants. Perhaps but most of our fore fathers were not kowtowed too. The eSL and welfare benefits drive me wild. .

I find it hilarious that Trump is getting free air time while the rest of the Gopers are having to pay for stupid little TV ads.
Somebody must be knowledgeable about the right time to spend and not to spend. Somebody who is not used to getting money given to them but working hard and smart to earn it.
