I'm no Trump fan, but he's far from stupid. He has a shrewd grasp of the unbridled adoration some of his supporters have for him. It's hard to imagine Cruz saying "support me so I feel better."

I think you’ve nailed it. Walker’s campaign is overflowing GOP INSIDERS, and it’s very likely they told walker to have the “little guys” do the attacking, and maybe Trump wouldn’t respond. And they DEFINITELY advised Walker not to apologize, but rather “stay above the fray”.
Oh well, that didn’t work, too.
Walker needs to purchase some charisma. He is a good governor. But without charisma he can not beat Hillary who has a huge electoral advantage.
That is an excellent and prescient point, Vet! Almost none of the professional politicians running have signed private sector checks on the front. Trump has signed over a million during his career as a businessman.

Step back and you will see her whole campaign is a farce, she is only running to keep ahead of the mob who who wants to put her in prison.
