That’s an important point and I share the same concerns with my kids in college. I would still submit that the roots of that problem are a consequence of our nation’s social disintegration. The vast majority of the population is ignorant as to the nature of our enemies which are quite real. They have promoted our ongoing societal collapse since the founding. In our current state of national disunity we are effectively powerless to defend our way of life. Our enemies watch closely and are biding their time. Their time is almost here. There will be no “employers” requiring job applicants after the coming gobsmack as we are now vulnerable on every front. I’m actually curious as what they’re waiting for.

I think vulgarization of social mores is probably a very small part why jobs are gone.

The major cause is foreign trade deficits with manufacturing behemoths like China and Japan. Also trade pacts like NAFTA have caused a slew of factories move to Mexico but non moved from Mexico to USA. That is why I was really shocked to see Cruz pushing Obamatrade.

Manufacturing is the biggest wealth creator. Any nation which loses manufacturing will find itself with sinking standards of living.
