Looking like a solid 2-1 Cruz lead.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
1st Choice is Cruz
2nd Choice is Trump
But.....
As a realist I know the election is a long time away and politics, being what it is, can turn on a dime....
Who knows what may happen between now and election day....

Cruz - constitutionalist basically
4 original cabinet on Washington’s slate:
Sec State: John Bolton - cause he’ll kick ass
SecDef: Allen - marine knows his duty (called sec war at the time)
Sec Treasury (as defined below) - Trump he knows money (Paul alternate)
Atty General - hardest pick for me. Keep coming back to Giulliani on this, but don’t like his opinion on 2nd. (Cruz for this if trump gets the nod, though Cruz should really stay in the senate in that case). Maybe one of the big names sheriffs out of Arizona or Milwaukee.
Sec Energy(as defined below):Palin - dealt with it before
HHE (as defined below) or Surgeon Gen: Carson - he’s the brain surgeon after all
Commerce, EPA, Education, Interior, Ag, Commerce, Labor, HUD, Transportation, VA, OMB, trade rep, council of econ advisors, SBA - eliminate and roll into one of the above.
VA goes back to Defense - separating it didn’t help. UN ambassador under sec state instead of on cabinet.
All the econ stuff roll into treasury: commerce, omb, trade rep, econ advisors, sba.
Combine interior stuff roll into Energy: AG, Interior, EPA, Transportation.
Combine Education, HUD role into HHE.

Trump. More so now than last time. My second choice Cruz continues to struggle in single digits and I don't think he's going to be a contender. Trump on the other hand is starting to gain an aura of inevitability. For some reason, history and America appears to have chosen him.
Maybe Cruz in 2020 or 2024. He's still only 44 years old.

Torn between Cruz and Trump.

Trump and Cruz.
Then, reset the central socialist government. Deny Barry and Moochie any benefits. No security: you’re on your own and you HAVE to move to Chicago. (Or Kenya)

I think Mia Love has been a big disappointment as have most that we sent to Washington. Not sure, but, haven’t heard anything much from or about her.

Cruz is the most conservative, the smartest and the most principled. Unfortunately he lacks charisma.

Trump/Cruz. Trump connects more with fly over country and common folk - which is weird because he is a billionaire. Ted is intelligent, but talks over people’s heads - he doesn’t connect as well. I also don’t trust him on illegal immigration or the fact that his wife is on leave from Goldman Sachs and was on the CFR committee. These are things which bother me.

Indeed, but I also happen to think he would be a good justice. Maybe Paul Clement also.
