IMHO the real target is the liberal/socialist/progressive/democrat/RINO cabal and their enablers.
The Republican portion of the electorate should be choosing the candidate that has the best chance to do so.
What this author wants is to incite a bloodbath that results in a weak and damaged Republican candidate in November 2016 - like the last several election cycles.
If any of the “lesser candidates” want my support - time and money - they need to come up with ideas that are better and more practical than anything that Trump has proposed to date. Attacking Trump to improve their personal chances is a failing proposition as proven by the last two Presidential elections.
Why do we want to repeat a failed process? I don’t!
gosh I wish they would have directed THIS MUCH ENERGY TO DEFEATING OBAMA
Perhaps Trump has already figured out the “Gang Up On Trump” GOPe tactic, and has decided to stay above the FRay and to attack LIEberals and the Ophonybama administration?
Wouldn’t that be a hoot? Where everybody piles on Trump, and he is, for all intents and purposes, not under the pile, but is instead leading a press conference about how to destroy LIEberalism and the Ophonybama administration?
I’d pay good money to watch that event!
OMG someone get that to the TRUMP TEAM!
They should hire you as a consultant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
he can set up an alternate anytime and invite whoever he wants. If he gets pulled off or shut down, all the other networks will interview him. If they won’t he can stream. He is the only candidate I know can work around the media.
What if Trump said that it was time to declare war on Fiorina. How would that be greeted? Sexist, woman hater blah, blah, blah; yet, Trump is expected to take the pummeling like a good boy!
I hope he counter punches harder than the first debate.
Thanx. I’m more of an INsultant
How about a war on the worst POTUS in history?
Me to.
And his poll numbers will go up another 10%.
This.
Yes. I’m absolutely amazed at the arrogance of this - the façade is totally gone - as Rush has said - it’s not that they’re out of touch - they absolutely just don’t care that WE THE PEOPLE ARE and SHOULD decide who we want to run the country.
I don’t know about you - but I SO despise the manipulation and false witness.
Hmmmmmmm . . . . do you think that the GOPe will breakaway and form a third party?
How can you say “attack Trump!” and then complain every time he responds? These people think we are stupid.
I watched an interview with Trump on David Ferherty’s show on the Golf Channel last night. Actually just the 2nd half.
Trump came across as thoughtful, kind, energetic, empathetic and, dare I say it, kind of self effacing. And this was from 2012 so I don’t think he was trying to burnish his image in a run to the Presidency.
Worth watching. Hope I catch the whole thing in the next couple of days.
A current example of that myopia would be the penchant of otherwise competent & experienced commentators in the financial end of the broadcast media, to continue to accord Jeb Bush an inordinate importance, which his demonstrated "effectiveness" clearly cannot justify.
I have not but you are on to something. You mean the “tail fins on cars” guys in the 50s/60s who didn’t really address any of the real, important changes in autos?
Corporate managers tend to be myopic for the obvious reasons; so too, one supposes, the political consultants, who also depend upon the favors of those up the chain of command in the funding sources.
Not quite the same thing as the terror in the peacetime army, when an unrecognized Pfc. with a clipboard shows up in the area, until someone figures out to whom he is reporting.
Well, the myopia in large part comes from the fact that the consultant class works for the pols because they come from the same Ivy League schools and live in the same neighborhoods. I’m starting to think that one reason Clinton was so successful is that outside of Dickie Morris, his consultants were from Arkansas/Louisiana (Like Serpenthead). So I think they always kept him pretty well informed of what real Americans wanted.
