Sen. Rand Paul on Tuesday said his presidential campaign is pretty much “done for”.
As for Mitch McConnell, it's pretty much given he will not be majority leader come January 21st 2017. That will take care of the Rand Paul “suck up to McConnell so I can run for both Senate and President st the same time” problem.

Agree, many don’t like Ron but he was ostracized in the house because he wouldn’t go along with the party line. I may not agree with a man like that, but I have to respect a man that willingly gives up power and influence for his principles.
