The Washington Examiner ^ | November 19, 2015 | Timothy P. Carney

It's understated, but that's Bush's proposed path to victory in a nutshell.

Jeb's line Wednesday night echoed the argument his supporters made to me around the state: Republican voters tend to nominate the establishment guy — the boring, staid, responsible grown-up. If he is the nominee we might as well stay home because that will be undeniable proof that it’s all rigged.

Jeb is as inevitable as a hangover. A Bush family hangover.

What he's telling us is that the FIX is in. I say its up to us to prevent it. They are planning on a brokered convention with the smoke filled rooms and all that implies. GOPe=Progressive lite.

The only way they were looking at the nominee in that home is if the television was on and Trump was on the screen.

The boring establishment guys had solid support in the Party around 20-25%. Bush doesn’t have it. 2016 is not going to be just another year in politics. The anger among average voters for the DC Political/Media/Business machine is far higher then it has ever been before. “Resume” candidates like Bush are not going to do well in 2016.

Just like when Romney was nominated.

Who? Oh, that loser the GOPe put up? The one who let Candy Crowley walk all over him in the 2nd debate?

Yeah, that guy really excited the electorate, didn't he?

Jeb’s not in that picture. If he was he would be going the other way, downhill.
