"He lied. [President Bush] got us into the war with lies. And I mean - look at the trouble Bill Clinton got into with something that was totally unimportant. And they tried to impeach him, which was nonsense. And yet Bush got us into this horrible war with lies, by lying, by saying they had weapons of mass destruction, by saying all sorts of things that turned out not to be true."

If a corporate CEO had done Monica like Bill, I believe he would have been fired, sued and possibly imprisoned. Anyway his career would have been ended immediately.

Starting Iraq war is the biggest foreign policy blunder by United States in my lifetime. And I am pretty old, in mid-70’s. Trillions spent with borrowed money from China, tens of thousands of American soldiers killed and wounded, wounded veterans getting schlonged by the inept VA, middle-east is the worst disaster in 100 years (Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, total disaster), ISIS is flourishing, terror attacks every where.

Dictators like Saddam & Qaddafi kept the Jihadists under control and executed them. Attacking Iraq started the chain reaction of disaster. United States Treasury is bankrupt, with $20 Trillion in debt. We have neither the money or desire to create democracies in the middle-east.

That will be the legacy of Bush-43. His father had the sense to get out quickly from Kuwait. Billy Jefferson’s peccadillo’s are like a zit on a bull elephants azz compared to the disaster created by Bush-43.

Billy Clinton through Loral gave China its rocket and missile guidance technology so the can now nuke ANY city in the world instead of only having a short range before.
Billy also refused Laden three time giving birth to 9/11 which started out home mess.
Carter F’d all by replacing the secular leader of Iran with Radical Islamic leaders maybe birthing this whole modern day Terror issue.

He’s already answered that. When you need building permits, clearances, etc., you play the game according to the “rules” the Corrupt Bastards Club have in operation.

One of his intentions as POTUS is to knock out the Corrupt Bastards Club.

She also went after the women to silence them. This is the crux of the issue, IMHO.

I agree. Giving China rocket technology in return for campaign contributions was very bad policy. The Chinese are cunning and smart. They bought technology developed by the company I worked for 25 years. Our CEO was stupid to sell the technology for a paltry $10 million. Now China can manufacture their own machines and compete with us.

That is exactly why we need a shrewd businessman like Trump who understands foreign trade first hand. Our career politicians are all inept in regards to foreign trade deal making.

But I give some credit where credit is due. 22 million new jobs were created during Clinton’s 8 years. And people who owned stocks during that time became wealthy.

That would be a quid pro quo, which is illegal. So, either these politicians and Trump were engaging in illegal corrupt practices, or Trump helped them get elected because he agrees with them, or at least he doesn't disagree with them. While conservatives like Cruz and DeMint were fighting the liberal agenda, Trump was helping liberals win elections.

Only country which gave refuge and sanctuary to Bin Laden was Afghanistan. Attacking Afghanistan and dismantling Pakistan created Taliban regime was good policy. But then we should have withdrawn quickly out of middle east. That is what Bush-41 did after removing Saddam from Kuwait.

Even the Kuwait war was unnecessary. Why do we care who sells us the oil? The Kuwait sheikhs or Iraqi dictator. Even the mullah’s in Iran are dying to sell their oil to the world starting on January 1st 2016, when the sanctions are being lifted (thanks to Kerry/Obama Iran deal).

They can not drink the oil. They must sell the oil to survive. It is very stupid to take sides in the middle-east, and start wars, when our Treasury is worse than bankrupt. If we were a private company, we would be in bankruptcy court a decade ago.

How is Cruz conservative, when he is relentlessly pushing the cheap labor express, which hurts the hard working middle class? Just one rich donor, Robert Mercer gave $31 million to the Cruz campaign. All career politicians are controlled by their rich donors.

Does not look like you are a qualified lawyer. It is PERFECTLY LEGAL to donate to political pacts in any amount you wish to donate. Every career politician, including senator Cruz has received millions for their campaigns and their pacts. Robert Mercer alone give $31 million. It is NOT illegal, unless it can be proven in court that politicians are performing a quid pro quo.

Because all big biz does the same thing. This is no secret.

Btw, Hillary gets KO’d if she decides to climb into a debate ring with Trump.

This stupid bimbo decided to make some ginned up war on women her big cause, when her husband is a one man army in the war on women.

I never said it wasn't. The thing is, all the Trump supporters defend the donations by arguing that they were necessary in order for Trump to grease the wheels and get building permits, etc. Making donations isn't illegal, but making donations in exchange for official actions is. Rather than fight such corruption, Trump chose to use it to play the system to his advantage and helped elect evil people in the process.

Of course you have no problem with Mrs Cruz working for Goldman Sachs. Nobody is going to be nominated for conservative sainthood.

He is hammering them hard now.

Pray America wakes

Lying under oath is important plus one of his BJ with Monica was while he was talking on the phone about troop deployment. It might have been better to have had blood flowing to his other head. One last thing “they” did not just “try to impeach him”, he was impeached. The cowards in the Senate just refused to remove him from office.

First of all that's the candidate's wife, not the candidate himself. Second, what exactly did she do there that was wrong? Nothing to my knowledge.

Sounds like a nice double standard you have there. She is innocent, but Trump is guilty; got it.

Agreed. The other point is that, as much as Trump likes to talk about how the other candidates are owned by their donors, he has not proposed a single thing to fix the problem of corruption in government. His solution to the issue is to elect Trump, because he supposedly can't be bought. Which raises an obvious question - then what? Let's say we elect Trump because he can't be bought. What next? Should we just keep electing people who can afford to self-fund? And, if so, isn't that really just cutting out the middle-man?

Trump played by the rules. He would be an idiot to lose out to fierce competition in real estate business by refusing to donate to career politicians. His competition will not stop the same. Until we change the system and take money out of politics, the corrupted career politicians will rule. Only way to take money out of politics is to make campaign short (2 0r 3 months) and only funded by compulsory small tax payer contributions, with no private funding allowed.

But that will never happen. Carer politicians will never cut their own power off.
