Cruz crushed a breath mint. Partially, at first, but eventually, he got around to crushing the entire mint. :)

Cruz’s most devastating attack of the night was on that b—ger sitting on his lower lip. He attacked it with gusto. It didn’t stand a chance.
Yeah, I know. That was a crude and childish response on my part, but I couldn’t resist.

The booger incident turned Cruz into a laughingstock.
Fair or no, that’s the truth....

If Cruz’ sales pitch wasn’t hypocritical, it might work. But he’s definitely leveraged political power for his own personal gain. And leveraged that power at the expense of his own voters in Texas.

Oh please....now rubbish from THE WEEKLY STANDARD?
You're desperate and so are they!
Trump will easily get the required 1237 delegates on April 19th !

Gist:
1.) Trump is a fraud who can't be trusted to keep his word.
2.) Trump is not either conservative or Republican in any meaningful way.
3.) Trump actually is the corruption that he decries.

Apparently Trump’s “Cruz is a liar” meme has deranged a few FReepers. Oh well.

Thanks for this article. It's become too painful to keep up with political news; I hardly even listen to Rush or Levin anymore because the thought that Americans are on the verge of electing people with no reverence for the Constitution-or the truth, for that matter-is downright depressing.
There's simply no reasoning with Trump supporters. There are no facts you can present to them even if the source is Trump himself that will move them to think; all they'll do is ridicule.
If you read the book of Proverbs, you must conclude that a large swath of the current electorate meets king Solomon's definition of a fool.

Cruz voted for the fast track-he is part of the corruption.

The record seems to be clear that Ted Cruz is a top notch debater.
Unfortunately, being a great technical debater is not tantamount to:
- being a great President
- inspiring American voters
- expanding the GOP demographic base
- being a leader of men
- making America great again
- winning enough delegates to get the nomination
- being a charismatic, likable person
If only...
Go. Trump. Go.

I thought Cruz did really great. If he was the frontrunner there's no question that Mitt Romney would have been attacking him instead.
I thought Rubio was awful for the most part. Hypocritical and trite. He needs to drop out. Him talking about 2/3 of voters rejecting Trump is pretty ridiculous and I would have come back with the fact that, in most polls, 80-85% have rejected Rubio and all he could win was MN and finish third.

Cruz is our next president, or the republic is lost. The progressives, who are all the other candidates, including trump, will destroy us.

Talking about a private sector man as being part of the Washington corruption just proves to me that Cruz thinks we are all idiots unable to read.
I was here long before he even entered politics. He should have joined us as we discussed Alberto Gonzalez, the Blue Dress, Papa Bush’s betrayal of the Suuni people, PNAC, etc., etc., etc.
It’s clear to me that Romney is pulling the strings of both Cruz and Rubio, so I would prefer to send the children back to bed and ask Romney to ‘bring it’ so we have the option of finishing him in politics once and for all.
