Donald Trump and Ted Cruz are locked in a tight Republican race - separated by just three points - according to results from a new national NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. Trump is the first choice of 30 percent of Republican primary voters - followed by Cruz at 27 percent, John Kasich at 22 percent and Marco Rubio at 20 percent.

Last month, the same NBC/WSJ poll found Cruz with a two-point lead over Trump, 28 percent to 26 percent, but that was before Trump's big wins in South Carolina and Nevada.
The new NBC/WSJ poll - conducted mostly after last Thursday's raucous GOP debate and Mitt Romney's blistering anti-Trump speech - differs from the weekly national NBC SurveyMonkey online poll, which showed Trump leading Cruz by 19 points, 39 percent to 20 percent. The NBC SurveyMonkey poll was conducted Feb. 29-March 6, so half before the debate and Romney's speech.....

I highly doubt 70% of GOP voters are against Trump.
1. North Korea, just yesterday. threating to attack us with nukes
2.The Iranian's with their newly acquired 150 billion dollars -can simply buy nukes now!
3. Mullah Obama has already begun flying in his preset goal of 170,000 Islamic Muslim rapefugees! How many of these 170,000 will eventually beat, rape and murder our fellow Americans. How many of these 170,000 will arrive here - and eventually pull out machine guns on us.
4. The illegal mexican horde currently here and the illegal mexican hordes always enroute here -taking millions upon millions of jobs from Americans (white, black and hispanic Americans), swarming our schools, bankrupting our hospitals, raping and murdering fellow Americans. [and all the very slimy democrat politicians welcoming them -as potential democrat voters]
I'm voting for Trump!
I’d bet 50% are, and others prefer someone else...
The Trumpkins were all over FR this morning crowing about a MSNBC/SurveyMonkey (online) poll that was positive for Trump. Now they will be here trashing this NBC/WSJ poll that is not positive toward Trump. Both from the NBC family - but the one from MSNBC (the most liberal network on TV) will be the reliable poll, I’m sure.
Let’s see ow many times this article, or some derivative, thereof, can be posted in the next hour!
Probably not - but 67% of GOP voters have voted for candidates OTHER than Trump so far this year...
Maybe us “Trump-haters” should coordinate with each other so that we don’t offend you special snowflakes?
This is NBC/WSJ, responsible for all the other “tie” or “close” polls going back several months. They did the same thing before South Carolina and were off by huge margins.
Doubt it, we all remember the last poll from these tools. But on the outside chance it’s right, all I gotta say is, congratulations Madam President!
The head-to-head polls show Cruz doing better against Hillary than Trump.
No internals, so down the crapper.
Still, IMHO, to get a better picture you have to look at an average of five or more national polls.
Finally, the only polls that count are the actual votes...and we are having four more of those today. The will give us a better idea if this poll is more accurate.
with votes in Michigan, Mississippi, Idaho, and Hawaii, that is a pretty broad spectrum.
You don’t say. You know at one time they’d tell you not to sail too far out of the harbor because you’ll fall off the edge of the world.
“When is the national primary?” /running/ducking
If this is even close to accurate, we are getting a contested convention.
Oh God this is funny. CNN is talking about this poll and they are seriously pushing the notion that Kaisch is the only guy who has a shot at taking a wheel off Trumps carriage.
Really? Umm the name in the Poll is CRUZ CNN, not Kaisch.
