The time to do that was March 15 after he lost everything in sight and it was over. I imagine myself in his shoes...got Kasich hanging in like a vulture ready to grab the number two slot that I don't think he deserves, I got people around saying they want me to win,...it would be a hard choice to make I think. I can not fault Cruz if he doesn't make it.
But I would love to see him cut a deal with Trump where he ends up filling Scalia's spot on the court.
Am I proud of it? No. Does it bother me? No. He also donated to republicans including Mitt Romney. He was a business man and to build his political relationships he made donations. Doesn’t mean he believed in their causes. I can relate because I’ve had to rub elbows with hard core Democrats in my business, and benefit them, but it doesn’t mean I supported their views.
