My thoughts, too. The far out Pentecostal BS that Cruz and his father are into is for whacko birds. I did some research, and; supposedly a large number of Puerto Ricans then other Hispanics like Mexicans have joined the regular Pentecostals. There is one Puerto Rican preacher with numerous churches. These types are not yet as far out as Cruz. Sadly, a number of older mainstream protestant denominations like my Presbyterian Church agreed to take the LGBT types in. I left them and I listen to John MacArthur now. I use his study bible etc. I really like his teaching.
What is the deal with Steve Deace? Has he always been a bitter, hate-filled theocrat? Or did Cruz somehow make him one?
John McArthur is solid. Plus, he’s doing the job every other mega-preacher is avoiding: exposing modern heresies.
His book “Strange Fire” and the conference videos (which are on youtube) should be required reading/viewing for any Christian.
