He needs a lot more than some ad software. He needs some serious data scientists and credible big data sources to figure out how to target ads, mail, email, and GOTV campaigns.
And Cruz had all that. He should hire his team, en masse.
If people actually listen to his speeches, they would learn a lot. He just needs to keep hammering away. He has done better getting positions out than any other candidate. Need to focus on the low info voter, who still operating under the delusion that sound bites from the left are truth and that they are for the working class. What is Obamacare doing to healthcare access? Why didn’t social security folks receive a cola this year? But They left has $ for refugees & illegal aliens! What has Obamacare done to Medicare. Time to “scare” the low info people to the right as the left has always done in the past. Get a dollar figure for total foreign aid to other countries from taxes. Not just trade imbalance, what US actually pays out.

I agree, but from what I’ve read, Trump’s already getting all that from the RNC. The RNC has been working on developing just this sort of targeted database since 2012, and Reince at least claims that they are now doing better than the Democrats on that front.
There is no way that Trump could rival the RNC’s years-long efforts in this regard over the next few months, so trying to poorly duplicate their work on his own makes no sense. Trump’s a believer in leverage, though, so he is wisely fundraising for the RNC to ensure that they stay in his camp and provide him with the info and workers on the ground that he needs.
