Clinton sharpens, Trump softens. He’s rising, she’s falling.
The Washington Post ^ | September 15, 2016 | Dr. Charles Krauthammer

If you are the status quo candidate in a change election in which the national mood is sour and two-thirds of the electorate think the country is on the wrong track, what do you do? Attack. Relentlessly. Paint your opponent as extremist, volatile, clueless, unfit, dangerous. Indeed, Hillary Clinton’s latest national ad, featuring major Republican politicians echoing that indictment of Donald Trump, ends thus: “Unfit. Dangerous. Even for Republicans.”

That was the theme of Clinton’s famous “alt-right” speech and of much of her $100 million worth of ads.

Problem is, it’s not working.

Over the past month, Trump’s new team, led by Kellyanne Conway, has worked single-mindedly to blunt that line of attack, on the theory that if he can just cross the threshold of acceptability, he wins. In an act of brazen rebranding, they set out to endow him with stature and empathy....

If she collapses and no one is around...did it happen? I’m betting she has collapsed many times....and has to lie down until it passes.....mini strokes...and they aren’t going to go away.

Brazen rebranding?! I’m sorry, but there is only one major party candidate who is constantly re-introducing and re-defining themselves, and it is NOT Trump!

Mark Steyn said a little while ago subbing for Rush that Sunday Hillary went down faster than Monica Lewinsky. LOL!

Must be killing Kraut to have to write this.
Those Republicans in Hillary’s ad are his friends.
Trump was not supposed to win.
illary is just a terrible candidate.

The Cheap Labor Express has been able to nominate an amnesty candidate in every election since the last amnesty.
They have effectively blocked the citizens from stopping a 30 year bipartisan policy of non-enforcement of immigration laws.
Trump has stood up for the citizens and the citizens are responding, bigly.

Screw Krauthammer. He attacked Trump throughout the primary, and the Tea Party before Trump’s candidacy.

Nothing but paranoia and scare-mongering. That is all she can do. From "Vast Rightwing Conspiracy" to "Alt Right." She knows no other way to engage public.

one major party candidate who is constantly re-introducing and re-defining themselves,

Wrong. Politically correct but wrong.

one major party candidate who is constantly re-introducing and re-defining himself

or, to be more precise, but just as correct-

one major party candidate who is constantly re-introducing and re-defining herself,

I always get the feel from Krauthammer that he is still seething. It’s not open and in front any more, it’s just what I take away from any of his columns. I don’t see him on the TV anymore, I don’t bother watching any show he would be on (though I used to watch him), so maybe this is just bad perception on my part and I’m not giving him a deserved break.

Her secret Service and campaign staff ACTIONS proved on 9-11 that it HAS HAPPENED many times before. All was routine, cover-up and protect the victim (Hillary) from ALL cameras and get her out-of-sight!

And NEVER be seen going to a hospital, ER, or doctor!

Georgia Girl 2 was the name of a fishing boat I deckhanded on way back when for Captain Leroy.

They were playing that ad and another one hot and heavy here about a week ago, which makes no sense, she isn’t going to win Texas.

Hillary is about as sharp as a butter knife. Its time for Granny Clinton to be retired to the nursing home.

She has had effective ads. This isn't one of them.

For independents and truly conservative Republicans, being on the wrong side of Romney is a feature, not a defect. They didn't even bother including John Ellis Bush in the ad. If they did, I didn't notice it. Susan Collins? The one who let the filibuster against Obamacare die? Ben Sasse? Outside of Nebraska he is only known by wonks.

Her people are not that stupid. The only purpose of such an ad is to keep the NeverTrumpers away from Trump. Low risk, very low reward.

I did not know that. Never bothered to look into his background. Well, I knew he was a psychologist or something, but didn’t know he was a dem or Canadian.
