Sarah Palin's name been making the rounds for weeks as a prospective ambassador to Canada, and today the White House suggested that it's not outside the realm of possibility.

Palin gave President Trump a shock endorsement last year as the first state, Iowa, prepared to hold its caucus. And she once worked with Canada to construct an oil and gas pipeline in her state.

At the White House's daily briefing Wednesday, a reporter asked if Palin was under consideration to represent the United States' interests north of the border.

Sarah Palin is the only reason that McCain won as many votes as he did. Embarrassing as that whole race was, she showed Americans how to fight back, just as Pres Trump does. However, over the years since then, it is obvious to me that the Palin family needs her full attention for a few more years anyway. A public office at this time would not be beneficial to this country. Her personal life, which she does not have total control of, would overshadow her ability to do her job. She is a great motivator and few Republicans are as adept or talented as Sarah is. A job can be created for her which would benefit the country and at the same time make media attacks work to her benefit. Facebook and other social media thrives on personality bashing, thus more attention for Sarah.

“Sarah Palin would be a most interesting Ambassador to send Justin Trudeau’s way.”

Good observation and I agree with you.
