Um.

Six months will be 2018.

I understand that North Korea is currently an issue. But we really, really, really need to start to re-industrialize our nation.

Big time.

No, I meant six months since Trump got going. Six months ago.

I understand, but I am all for bringing back industry to America right now.

That is one of the most important issues from his campaign.

Bring back US jobs, to America.

Not two years from now.

Right now.

"You are aware Drudge is an aggregator and not a reporter?"

Oh. Look what Drudge wrote!

"BANNON BOMBSHELL: TRUMP HAS 30% CHANCE OF SURVIVAL!"

Here's the archived version of the page that it appeared on.

http://www.drudgereportarchives.com/data/2017/10/13/20171013_000502.htm

Here's the link from it as it appeared at the Drudge Report. The link brought up a time-wasting page of trash.

“Cruz endorsed Hillary ?”

I guess you missed the part at the Convention where he didn’t bother endorsing Trump.

The message to conservatives was LOUD AND CLEAR regarding Trump and nearly cost Trump Texas by the way (Trump won Texas by 8 points, when 2 years earlier EVERY statewide Republican won by 20 points ) - and forced Trump to spend money here.

“Exactly when do the Cruz haters plan to bury the hatchet?”

I was only pointing out the fact that Cruz cost Trump MILLIONS OF VOTES, possibly enough to make up for California...by not endorsing Trump.

I’m ‘over’ it (at least until the Primary next year, at least).

“You have great faith in Ted Cruz.

I think it was more suburban Romney Republicans who defected or stayed home.”

Cruz gave Aid and Comfort to EVERY REPUBLICAN who had doubts about Trump. A solid endorsement almost certainly would have helped Trump to the point of not having the super-close states and not having nearly as fodder to claim ‘Russian Interference’ made the difference.

Now Cruz, probably like most people (certainly most Republicans) figured that Trump would likely be blown out, so obviously Russia wouldn’t have mattered. But the reason you SUPPORT THE PARTY’S CANDIDATE is because you cannot be sure of the outcome, regardless of what CNN polling is saying.

“The Cruz voters were in states Trump had already won, states that Republicans always win.”

True, but there are still hundreds of thousands of them in the Midwest (maybe not millions as in Texas and the South, but hundreds of thousands).

If Cruz had told his voters to actually support Trump, those states wouldn’t have been the nail-biters they were and the Russian crap and other crap wouldn’t have gotten nearly as far as it has (and still may result in half of Trump’s people winding up with felony convictions).

Being a WISE-ASS has consequences.

The thing about so-called progressives, Red-state Democrats, and the Paul Ryan/Mitch McConnell wing of the Republican Party is, well, they are all one thing. With both houses of Congress in hand, and the White House, they can’t vote for the things that the majority wanted when they voted them in in the first place.

...the president also did not know the function of the 25th Amendment, which allows a majority of the Cabinet to vote for the president to be removed from office.

So Pence becomes president, and then he appoints Trump as VP. Then Pence resigns and President Trump appoints Pence as VP.

100% of liberal heads explode.

LOL! Rolling my eyes...

Drudge links to articles and does not write them. People who believe otherwise are lacking in basic skills. Believe it or not, there are some people who claim FR has an exclusive when the thread links to the Wash Post, USA Today, etc.

I like Trump, but anyone who really believed he could bring back the jobs from China is very very very very naïve - very naïve.

The economy is massive and complex and to think one man can change the dynamics is, well naïve. There are things he can do to mitigate the damage and perhaps slow the drain of jobs, but they are gone and not coming back.

Consumers are very price sensitive. Most all people prefer to pay as cheap as possible, and because of that, those goods are made in China. Case in point: Brooks Brothers sell their dress shirts for $92 or $94 each (cheaper on sale). Obviously, all are made overseas. They also sell a white shirt and a blue shirt made in America for $150 each. Well, as much as I would like to support American made products, I am not going to pay $150 for a shirt. Basically, we can’t afford to pay for many products that can be made in America.

Catawba makes socks in NC - for $8 a piece. I will pay that but many people won’t, so most are made overseas.

True, but they are not manufacturing jobs. Those jobs are never coming back - Trump or no Trump. The dynamics are such that they will never return. Besides with robots coming to take a ton of jobs, no one will be concerned about China anymore.

This article clearly states that the alleged quote from Bannon was several months ago and was attributed to sources.

So once again we have what is more than likely fake news.

I can shop wherever I want, but I choose to shop at Kohl's and Target. Kohl's for most stuff, and Target for undies.

If it's a wedding or a funeral, I shop at Ostuni's. Gaspar is highly competent and makes good conversation.

Yeah it was wishful thinking on my part. I live in Northern Virginia and can’t stand how liberal NOVA has become.
