Right now my sister and I have an apartment so we don't have a yard to hang a flag in. I know that when I have a house I will be the one taking care of the flag but I don't mind. Although I know she loves this country, I do get frustrated with how dispassionate she seems to be.

Hi Donaeus....I haven't been around much since I first welcomed you to this site last week. So glad you are becoming a part of this very special thread. Today's thread was especially beautiful and touching...Billie has great talent and has taught the rest of us "hostesses" and finest regulars so much.

Hope to see you often and prayers being sent for your friend. He's close to the surgical hour about now???

Until 9/11, I wasn't quite as passionate about flying our flag every day, but that did something to me as it did to countless other Americans. I think that, and having a Commander in Chief that we can respect and who shows how much 'he' loves our country, sincerely and honestly, has probably made a difference in many of our lives.

I think that I might be inclined to stick a small flag in a flower pot outside if I couldn't mount it on the wall! :)

Hang a flag on the eaves of the window in your front yard. I have a home but my flag is out 24/7 (prolly a NO-NO to the flag cops) on the outside of my picture window.

One does NOT need a flag poll etc. a few nails or push tacks will do !
