Words cannot express how thankful we are for all your prayers and support. Pat's lung cancer surgery has been successful. As I stated above, we sought a second opinion at Brighams & Women's Hospital in Boston. We've been here the last several weeks. After several pre-op exams over the last two week, Pat had a Thoracosopy/Thoracotomy yesterday. Her upper right lung's lobe had to be excised, but all the cancer was removed. After a five hour surgery and three hour recovery, We were able to visit Pat for a short visit. Pat's a real trooper and she's looking good. Her hospital stay should be about 5-7 days, with a follow-up visit 10-14 days later. We'll be staying here in the Boston area with our "kids", who live in the immediate Boston area, and celebrate Thanksgiving together. Pat and I are planning to return to Florida the first week of December. Again, thank you all so much for the prayers and support. Bless you all, John & Pat.
