I guess I'm too busy to contribute to his organization. I just lost a lot of respect for him. Even though he is a liberal, I thought at least his voice would help the disabled. Seems like the only disabled he wants to help is himself.

I saw him years ago center stage in his wheel chair at the DNC in Chicago and knew he would never go to bat for conservative causes. It's ironic, but if his wife had been like MS, he could have had the plug pulled on him. The only difference as I see it is that his brain still functions normally, unlike MS. Otherwise I see no difference between the two cases.

unlike MS

Freudian slip perhaps. I meant to say "unlike Terri Schiavo".

I don't really see this as a conservative cause, but it is being portrayed that way and I guess the main supporters are conservatives.

The fact is this case stinks to high heaven.

MS has lied to the courts over and over again and Judge Greer continues to look the other way. In the beginning the husband had a very large monetary reason to refuse rehabilitation for Terri and then to "remember" years later that it is Terri's wishes to be removed from her feeding tube and not given water. He should have been removed as her guardian years ago when he did not fulfill the requirements for a guardian set by the staten. Now, according to the husband, after paying his attorneys most of Terri's money, there is only $50,000 left (which isn't chicken feed). He must be continuing his campaign to kill Terri for spite or maybe as some here speculate he and Felos are in a collaborative effort on a book about Terri.

I would like to see more pressure put on this judge. He has been very bias throughout the years towards the husband and against Terri's parents. Maybe the pressure could come through his Church? Does anyone know the name of it or the email address? I heard they are supporting the parents. I would like to see what they have to say about the matter.

Re: Chris Reeves. On that point, if Robin Williams hadn't stepped up to the plate and offered to pay for Reeves' care (at the beginning it was said to cost $400,000 per year) then Reeves himself would be in a bind. I don't think he had quite the money Williams does.

He may not have gotten the therapy he needed, which is what happened to Terri. He might just be lying there in a bed unable to speak at this point too.
