lots of fire trucks coming back into julian area, lots of smoldering areas flaring up around julian. anchor saying how amazing it is that the ff stay so calm, even with fire all around them. scattered smoke south of julian. line of fire truck went to fight fire up on ridge overlooking town right now.

Glad to hear that, as I have friend in Stevenson Ranch. Can you tell us anything about Brown's Canyon, Porter Ranch? The mountain between Brown's Canyon in Chatsworth and Stevenson Ranch is a straight shop-up and over. I used to ride all over Oat Mtn, and could look at Santa Clarita Valley, Simi Valley, and San Fernando Valley all from a couple of spots at the top. Was awesome. Now I don't even want to see it. But I do want to know condition of 3 ranches in Browns Canyon.

50,000 homes being threatened in the SB mountains now. They do have choppers in the air but the winds picking up are causing havoc. NBC News from Lake Arrowhead. The winds are very erratic. They are warning the FFs to have their evacuation plans read because of the erratic winds. Said the winds are blowing much harder today.
