"DEBKAfile ?s military sources report unusually heavy US bomber and fighter air traffic on the move from US West Coast to Middle East via Scotland"
I know, I know, it's DEBKA, but, does anyone think it has anything to do with the recent threats against New York, LA, and DC?
or.............perhaps a run up for Syria???

I have noticed that the helicopter that usually follows me has been absent the last few days. Something must be up.
Now it's following me. Thanks. Couldn't you have at least done something semi-interesting?

The French Resistance was okay. The problem with it was how it exponentially multiplied in strength after the war.How true. I believe if you take the number who claim to have been in the resistance, add the Israels who claim to have crossed the Suez Canal, and throw in the Americans who were at Woodstock or were Special Forces in Nam, you get the entire population of the world.

I think it's finally a strike against those thousands of Chinese troops in Afghanistan. Or was that the Sudan? Or Panama?

....Andrews AFB landing pattern for the past several days. I have noticed a significant amount of fighters (F-16s and F-15s) in the airin just the past 48 hours,Probably nothing more than flight ops. My son serves on an aircraft carrier and is currently in the Persian Gulf.
His home base is in Norfolk and while there, it was routine for them to put out to sea for days or weeks to practice take-offs and landings of a wide variety of aircraft.

Andrews is home to the DC National Guard Fighter Squadron.
Yes, which is equipped with F-16s, not the F-15s I've been seeing a lot more these past couple days.

My mother always complained about the noise from the planes contantly taking off and landing during the night. When people called Beaufort to complain they were always asked "Are you sure they're OURS???"

...the Bekka valley--is that in Syria or Lebanon--I forget... Yeah, so do the Syrians!

I don't think that is what John wanted when he bought
that stuff that was advertised in the spam email.

"There are no US bomber bases on the West Coast."
Wouldn't it be a security issue as to where all our bombers are located? I know they're hard to hide once they're aloft, but maybe we don't know where they all are.

Nah, you can't really hide B-52 or B-1 bases, and we haven't tried.
The locations of all of these bases are pretty much public domain.
