The old alphabet-soup networks tried to stay silent ( shades of the Clinton Ninties... ) but once Fox started telling the story, they reluctantly joined in.

I haven't heard it mentioned on any of the networks, but then again, I don't watch them much. I deliberately watched the Today show yesterday morning to see if they would mention it and of course, they DIDN'T.

Years ago- during the Clinton's one-man Crime Wave- Reed Irvine at AIM made the point that "if the Press doesn't like a story, they simply will never talk about it."

And this certainly is a story they don't like! Will be a fun day tomorrow watching the political shows. They'll not be able to avoid the topic even though it will kill them to give it any coverage. Puts a smile on my face just thinking about it.
