Holy Cow! 200+ actions in a 24 hour period; that division is certainly doing its part--there is a total of 81 infantry or armor platoons in that unit. Add in Scout platoons & reorganized mortars, engineers, artillery, and air defense; and that has to equal every platoon or section in the division going out on an op. Great to see, but hard to sustain.

Thanks for the info, mark. There have been an unusual number of
security reports since the attack on the Al Rasheed.

Thanks, Ragtime.
What bugs me is...
200+ engagements, only 16 'arrested'?
I hope they just left out the part about the ones killed.
That is a lot of work to get so few people...

I hope their operational security is getting better. I'm very concerned about the presence of moles in the Iraqi police forces.
It can't be a coincidence that the terrorists knew where Wolfowitz was in the al Rasheed hotel, that the blackhawk helicopters they attacked contained the head of the JAG corps along with the head Warrant officer and head Sergeant Major of the JAG corps.
Col. West was interrogating an Iraqi police officer when he got into trouble.
We cannot allow our enemies to get the information their hands on crucial information.
